Fundraiser
Our fellow brother, Officer Chuck Odegard star 13258, class of 02 January 1992, has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A benefit and gun raffle has been planned to help defray his incurred medical expenses. The benefit will be held on 28 April 2013.
Chuck is currently assigned to the 020th District and has also worked in the 014th District and Mass Transit.
We didn't post the Ticket Committee info seeing as how a lot of cell phone numbers are there. Instead, get a hold of the 020 Desk for info.

SCC, can you post some way for us non-cop, non-city types to throw a couple bucks that way?
Good guy. Hope he gets well soon.
Thanks for posting SCC. Chuck is a great guy.
God bless.
Pancreatic cancer is cruel, painful and fast acting. Chuck is truly a great guy, active in his church, friend to all, family man. good copper.
Please help out in his final days.
A guy from 020
Good luck Chuck, been battling the "C" for 14yrs. Do not go to Community hospitals for this fight, only teaching and Mayo type's. Again, I worked in 020 also for years with a great bunch of people hang in their buddy it can be controlled.
Please buy a raffle and party tickets, Chuck was always the first to help by buying party or raffle tickets for a fellow copper's benefit.

Please call the 020th District desk between 5:30am - 12:30pm. They will be able to help you make a donation.
Thank you from a friend of Chucks.
Chuck has always been hard-working, level-headed and kind-hearted. He came on the job happy and remains a joy to work with.
I like to think his strong faith, our strong medicine and some serious support from friends and family will make a difference in this challenge.
There are no problems- only opportunities--and benefit events and raffles are your opportunity to help make a difference.
Worked with Chuck in 014 during my tactical team days. Always an entertaining day with him around-I am very saddened to hear of his illness and hope whatever happens, it happens fast and Chuck knows that we all love him.
The best thing you can do is stay positive, keep fighting and never give up. Regardless of the diagnosis or what statistics may say you have to stay positive. Not like the jerk off "guy from 020." Shame on you for even posting that.
Went to Quigley North with Chuck, class of 83. Always a good guy, very sorry to see how sick he is. Mike, 015
Any one in 16 have raffle tickets?
Donation made. Thanks for posting, SCC.
12:03AM, WTF do you know about it, it was a positive post. If you read it and decipherd it you would understand.Don't be so quick to judge until you get it,then you can inform people who are facing it for the first time a little advice passed on by the Mayo clinic and people w/first hand knowledge of the disease. Ignorant asshole.
