Battle of the Badges
No one mentioned it, but the Battle of the Badges was held last night:
- Chicago's police officers and firefighters usually work toward the same goal: Keeping us safe.
But not Friday night! It's going down at De La Salle High School for the annual Battle of the Badges. The city's finest and bravest will put pride on the line as they battle in the boxing ring for charity.
As a sport, the sweet science of boxing is certainly helpful when it comes to being on the streets.
Hopefully, everything went off without a hitch and they raised plenty of donations for the respective police and fire family charities.

Great turnout. Too bad headquarters decided to close the lot and say its full despite all those open spots near the front.
I heard Carol Marin gave Gary another ass kick in but this time in the ring. Knocked him out in first round.
Kudos to Terry Venta from the Caps program as one of the organizers.Good job.Just hope he ditches his trenchcoat???

In NYC, the cops and firemen sometimes go at in the streets. No need for a special event.
