Battle of the Badges

  • Chicago's police officers and firefighters usually work toward the same goal: Keeping us safe.

But not Friday night! It's going down at De La Salle High School for the annual Battle of the Badges. The city's finest and bravest will put pride on the line as they battle in the boxing ring for charity.

As a sport, the sweet science of boxing is certainly helpful when it comes to being on the streets.
Hopefully, everything went off without a hitch and they raised plenty of donations for the respective police and fire family charities.

Great turnout. Too bad headquarters decided to close the lot and say its full despite all those open spots near the front.
