Bomb "Scare"
- Police closed off North Michigan Avenue for more than an hour this morning while a Bomb and Arson officer in a blast suit dismantled a suspicious object attached to a flagpole along North Michigan Avenue.
The object appeared to be several tubes wrapped in black cloth and tied to a pole off the plaza between the Wrigley Building at 410 N. Michigan Ave. and the Walgreens at 430 N. Michigan Ave., police said.
The officer dismantled the object after a robot was first deployed. The officer spread out the black cloth and removed what appeared to be several tubes. He then stood up, raised his mask and gave a thumbs up shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Better safe than sorry.
The Bomb guys looked good and they got to deploy their robot. Maybe instead of the Marine Unit stealing headlines this year, the Bomb Squad will be the go-to guys this summer?
Rumor is the device was some sort of stuffed animal and the robot tried to do a Contact Card on it. No word on if there were empty bottles of tequila and half burned candles in the vicinity.

Putting a bomb in downtown Chicago is gutsy stuff and at this point, I would not put it past our Jihadist welfare recipients (I am sure we have some here in Chicago)

I'm a member of "a" bomb squad here and work with these guys on occasion. Having media able to take those photos or the citizens and police officers that close is dangerous. If you can see the bomb, the bomb can see you.
I mean if you were a terrorist and about to attack here, you could visit our city website, look up these technician's Title code and have the names of your entire city response in a few minutes. Take them out...it's Disneyland for bombers. I know they've tried to have their names removed, but nothing.

Ok I'm going out on a limb here.
I am a member of a Chicago area police bomb squad. Take that for what it is, but make sure all of you keep your head on a swivel and do not take chances when it comes to "unattended bags" or "suspicious" items, etc.
I always say, if there is a doubt then there is NO doubt. Take a step back and reasses the situation. That bomb can not be targeted at one person, it doesn't see black, white, left or right, conservative or liberal.
We all we know, at this point, which ideology carried out this cowardly attack. Remember that if the truth does not support the liberal secular progressive ideological agenda, they'll start spinning until the reader or watcher gets dizzy and stops reading, speaking or writing. Debate based on facts is not in the cards; they'd lose.
We're in a world now that can not and should not suffer fools in "leadership" roles. Tough decisions need to be made regardless of political fallout.
Regretfully, we no longer have a representative republic, we have a totalitarian democracy, where the useful idiots receiving free stuff have now outnumbered the "workers" and it is going to take a miracle to reverse.
This is the time to be slow to anger but a perfect time for us as a nation to demand more from our "leaders". They should be working FOR us all, not just one party or race, creed or religion. Stop hiding behind your color or religion, become an American!!!
If you need help, start reading John Locke, Charles De Montesquieu, the Federalist papers, Mark Levin, etc to find out why this country was founded and how people's so different were able to come together at a time dominated by the British Empire. In that instance, David slew Goliath and began a country for all people yearning for freedom. Has it been tarnished? yes, but the USA is still the best this world has to offer.

2. Put in a box-- Drive around in circles in a 1-2 block radius
3. Contact Card- Filled out on a citizen for a rights violating database. Which is why the city is under a court order to destroy none of these cards or the database
