More Crime Near Obama's House
- A man was killed and another man wounded in an early morning shooting in the hallway of an apartment complex in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The shooting occurred around 12:15 a.m. in a four-story red brick building in the 5200 block of South Harper Avenue, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs....
And the newest media measurement:
- The neighborhood is just to the south of Kenwood, where President Barack Obama has his Chicago home. In the last month, the Hyde Park neighborhood has seen slightly more violent crime than Obama's neighborhood.
Oh, well that's alright then. As long as Hyde Park has more crime than Kenwood. You wouldn't want to have the president needing security or anything when he stops by the house.

He should just forfeit every time he goes home. Would that be racist? Rahm will say air force 1 wasn't planned ahead of time and it was a miscommunication!

Im glad they point out obama does not live in hyde park but kenwood cause that would look bad having people drop dead in the hood he lives in. Its next door so it's not as bad....

I'm confused. Are we blaming the crime on the house? There would be no crime, except for the location of the house?
That's what happens when all the cops that used to patrol those areas got redeployed to a box in the 002nd district.
