Chaplain's Fathers' Day Mass
From our Chaplains:
- Annual Fathers Day Mass at Gold Star Memorial and Park - 10:00-10:30 a.m. Sunday, 16 JUN 2013:
ALL ACTIVE AND RETIRED CPD MEMBERS, CHAPLAINS MINISTRY SUPPORTERS, L.E. PROFESSIONALS AND FAMILIES ARE WELCOME...
While this is a Catholic Mass, ALL are welcome to honor dads whose names are inscribed on the walls of the Memorial.
Feel free to bring a lawn chair/blanket ... and if you wish, food for a picnic lunch after Mass.
Ample free parking is available adjacent to the site.
IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, call Fr. Dan Brandt at 773/550-2369 for status.

Fathers day the most confusing day in the ghetto
To bad our time due will be denied for the Mass.
It's the Puerto Rican fest in 014 and the taxpayers have to pay tons of police from ALL OVER the city to work basically what is a "private carnival".
Where is Andy Shaw and the Better Government Association on this one???

This is 100% correct. The politically well connected make a lot of money off this criminal enterprise. Taxpayers foot the bill.
Maybe the changing demographics of the 014th District will win out someday. Politically correct will probably delay that, maybe prevent stopping this outright theft.
jj jr 4years , sandi 1 1/2 years for using over 900,000 is not enough , rod blago 14 years , never took 1 penny , poor black kid without a father often receives 5 years for taking alot less money . they should go as long as blago .
lets keep to the topic. The Chaplins are the best in the Nation. They truly give their all 24-7/
