England Wants Their Guns Back
Gun-grabbers hold up England as an example of "gun control" working wonders. But the actual English citizens don't feel that way:
- The United Kingdom is often held up as a successful example of gun control by those on the left. But a recent poll by the Daily Telegraph, one of England’s most widely-read publications, shows Britons themselves are far from sold on the laws.
In a poll asking readers what laws they would like to see introduced or changed, an overwhelming number of voters chose “repeal the ban on hand guns and re-open shooting clubs.”
“After all, why should only criminals be ‘allowed’ to possess guns and shoot unarmed, defenceless citizens and police officers?” reader Colliemum wrote.
Maybe the fact that there are "un-assimilated immigrants of indeterminate origin" cutting off heads might be making the staid English a wee bit worried about being completely defenseless.

Speaking of guns.
I went to Sox park yesterday for the first time this year and discovered they now "wand" everyone going into the ballpark.
Since I parked at 35th and Michigan I'll be damned if I walk from the game with my children without my pistol at 10:00 at night.
When it came time for me to get "wanded" I simply showed security personnel my ID and star and he let me in.
(I don't believe all of them are CPD or State Police)
Here's the question:
Has anyone had trouble getting into Sox park as an armed police officer?
Does anyone know what the policy is with off-duty coppers carrying?
Same immigrants cutting heads off in england are in maine and conneticut. Little did the liberals know that it would change their lifestyles forever. Guns take lives but in return it also saves lives. Since the government cannot ensure citizens' safety against gun violence, it only makes sense to allow citizens to have a fighting chance. Don't think for a minute that the feds will come to your aid in a timely manner in case of a disaster. It will take more than a week to bring you water.

I got news for the 'left' side. Guns are out there. What most people fail to realize is heroin purchase/possession is illegal in the USA but I can probably score some in about 20 minutes.
Guns being outlawed won't make a difference. Even if production is halted here in the USA. They aren't just made here anymore. They are made all over; Russia, China, Israel and I am sure several other countries. Either way they'd make over here and by pass customs and find their way into the wrong hands.

I went to last Saturday's Blackhawks playoff game and they were wanding everyone. As a retired guy I no longer have the power of the trusty badge and ID and I left the pistol in a case in the trunk so I didn't get to test it out who they would let in. I didn't need the problem of being refused entry, It is private property and they can refuse entry to whoever they want.
Yes. Please take Piers back.

With the crazies shooting up more and more venues, disarming police officers seems short sighted. It's one reason I rarely go out to these places. The over paid, obnoxious players are the other.
I am surprised that they do this. Are there any documented police officers shooting up stadiums? Maybe a street light or two, but hey, does the Sup leave his gun at home when he gets his freebie?

Thompson, the governor? The same guy who promised the owners of McCuddy's Tavern that the state would demolish their tavern and build them a new tavern right across the street? That Thompson? And then when the time came, Thompson told them to go wipe their ass with the agreement and the owners lost in court? That Thompson? Yeah, I remember that lying prick. So what.
So what that the park was paid for with public funds. They don't have to allow anyone in carrying if they don't want to. It is still considered private property.
If you are given professional consideration by security at the door, say thank you. It is not required. Especially not off duty or retired and considering that you will likely partake of an adult beverage inside.
Fight it in court of you don't believe.

I know about that. That is why I have a locked case bolted to the inside in the trunk. Most people do not. What is the alternative to being refused admittance with a weapon? Take it home? Sell it to one of the home boys? Argue with the security at the door?
