Saw him at the Sox game Wednesday night, it was Fire/Police Appreciation night. Him and the top CFD boss were there with an honorary fireman and police officer who both threw out ceremonial 1st pitches. I only saw McIdiot on the field for the ceremony. I'm sure he stayed to watch his team lose in the 12th for the sweep out of town. Hopefully he'll be swept out of town soon also.
Nah; he was hogging airtime last night for National Night Out.
Hasn't been back to Chicago Tonight, though, since Carol Marin played hardball with him.

Much ado about nothing you guys get all worked up about how bad he is. he is nothing but a puppet like the rest before him and the ones that are gonna replace him. Quit worrying about the Supt. past , present or future he is a non entity and always will be. You better start worrying about your personal finances and your family. Quit sweating the small stuff, watch, tact getting a day off when you want, etc. the only things that matter are healthcare and pension, neither one is looking very good. Our boss pointed out something interesting if true. McCarthy and the other two New Yawkers cannot legally open carry when they wear the uniform. They're not peace officers here in Illinois and the only reason they can carry is because they're retired coppers. And that only allows them to carry a gun concealed.
Any lawyers out there want to confirm?

Section 127, row 4.... I hope he claims these "gifts" on his income taxes, Those are seats owned by the Sox! Gratuities, that would get us fired, regular day for this nitwit!
Just like all those seats on the glass or behind the bench for the Hawks... He sure don't buy them!
Glad that he's enjoying himself while we're out on the streets undermanned and under equipped
Sweep his ass out of the City as well!
8.23am,,,,,I've seen GMac in a field uniform and armed,,,,a Glock of some type. He wore a full duty rig at NATO, complete with soft hat and long sleeve shirt with tie.
They are peace officers in Illinois and passed firearms quals just like us.

Sounds like your boss is disappointed he didnt get promoted. McCarthy went to the academy to take classes that allowed him to be sworn in or at least caerry a firearm
