A combined 129-195 record, I think it's safe to say they both sucked. As someone else posted a few days ago, the Bears are going to be the best of the worst. The Blackhawks have a legitimate shot at back-to-back Cups. It was a short off-season, but I'm glad it's back. Let's Go Hawks!

Cutler is not one of football's top quarterbacks. He is not as good as Peyton Manning, Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, but he is good enough. Even the best have bad games. With a decent offensive line, good receivers and a competent offensive coordinator and head coach which he now has, he is good enough to win a Super Bowl. Problem is the defense is starting to show its age and with Melton gone for the year the pass rush will be even worse than it has been. No Super bowl this year.
As good and talented as the Black Hawks are I just don't see a repeat. This hawks team should win at least two more championships but they also said that about the 85 Bears.
It was a very boring baseball season in Chicago.
I'm the biggest Hawks fan. I think Duncan Keith was a great pick-up off season. He'll be a valuable center this year.
Off topic but a shout out to the Academy Gym Staff for running the fitness test like a well oiled machine this morning....you guys were never bad but this morning you were on point. Thanks for getting us in and out.

Actually Dudley I was selected by the Blackhawks in the 2002 entry draft. I signed a contract with the Blackhawks before the 2003-04 season. I made the big club out of training camp for the 2005-06 season and played my first NHL game with the Blackhawks on October 5, 2005.
Do you remember the 2010 playoffs when I left 7 teeth on the ice after catching a puck in the mouth? No matter, I was back out playing in minutes after some Novocain.

Duncan, I never knew who you were until last year. I watched the finals this past Spring at my favorite hip bar, Irish Oak with my CDW coworkers. God we fuckin owned the bar that night. Go hawks! I'm the biggest fan.
