One a Day (And Then Some)

  • Eight men were shot to death in killings throughout the city last week.

The most recent murders happened when two men were shot to death during an apparent home invasion in the 9100 block of South Commercial Avenue about 5 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Someone at the Sun Times doesn't understand what a week is though - the murder count they use starts on Wednesday 15 January and ends Sunday 19 January. They ought to say "8 Murders in 5 Days."

Oh, they probably mean a 'calendar' week, SCC. All the trendy types have calendars now that start the week on Monday (no, this is not a joke). So, it's eight murders in five days, or it's eight murders in the week showing on my desk calendar. Both would probably make perfect sense to a young intern.

Like, um, you know, it's very hip to reinvent the traditional calendar.

And it's this cold, wait till it warms up, hope conceal carry is up,and running, then the innocents can protect themselves, and hopefully more kill shots when attacked that prevents a savage from hurting or killing another innocent!

theres a FRANK ZAPPA album(yeah, i know, it probably isnt the cup of tea most of you enjoy, but there may be few open minded, fully tuned PO's out there), STUDIO TAN that contains a piece on side A(the entire side) entitled GREGORY PECCARY, long/short, a scathing satire on the upward mobileness/hipness of "forward thinking" american me monkeys, like Gregory, who, in the course of the story, re-invents the calender. check it out, if you are so inclined. be safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
