Bring Back the Firing Squad
- JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. When state Rep. Paul Fitzwater, a Republican, signed his name as co-sponsor of a bill that would allow execution by firing squad, he was thinking of the victims.
That last minute or so of a murder victim's life can be brutal: He or she doesn't get to take an injection to die, Fitzwater said.
"People look at inmates who will be executed as victims," Fitzwater said. "But the real victims have no voice because they are gone."
Currently, the state puts inmates to death through injection of a lethal drug, although the current law also allows for gas the method by which 39 people were executed from 1938 to 1965.
The House bill adds the option of firing squad executions consisting of five law enforcement officers chosen by the state corrections director.
Everyone on the "anti" side seems to forget there are real victims who died alone and in most cases, in varying states of terror. Society should show then about as much concern as they showed their victims.

The firing squad is a method of execution for soldiers. The common criminal doesn't deserve an honorable death. Hanging is the proper method to execute thugs.

Only problem, the American left loves felons. To the left, felons are victims of a hateful, cruel, unjust and racist conservative/republican society. Capital punishment is just one more indication of that awful society.

Since the last family of the condemned didn't like the drugs used in Ohio, this would be a more suitable alternative to put the scum of the earth out of their misery quickly.
If they can put my cat to sleep without any problem, why is it so hard to do the same to a human? From a technical viewpoint, what is so complicated?

It still never ceases to amaze me that the offenders have more rights than victims....

The 8th Am. challenges to the d.p. from the left have never been argued to make executions humane, they've just been part of a greater effort to get rid of the d.p. altogether.
We used to execute criminals by rope and firing squad. Then, as the technology improved, gas chamber and electric chair. As those were eventually perceived as "cruel and unusual," executions were done by injection. But now, even the humane methods are attacked as "cruel and unusual" (remember, the libs use that argument against whatever method is currently being employed since the ultimate aim is to cast ALL d.p. protocols as "cruel and unusual"), and the only solution is to go back to tried and true methods that were acceptable when the Constitution was written.
Gallows and firing squad are cheap, fast and effective.

It is complicated to put a healthy human to death as opposed to a sickened, weakened, dog or cat. It is harder to stop the heartbeat, especially if adrenaline is flowing.
With today's technology in gun sights a Firing Squad is a more humane way to execute someone than The Chair, Needle, Gas, and for sure a Rope. It's basically instantaneous with a head shot, and which almost anyone whose fired a rifle could do with an AR with a zeroed Scope, and with five men the *outcome* is guaranteed.
And it's dirt cheap too, just $11.95 for a 20 round box of Federal American Eagle 223 Rem, 50gr JHP ammo. That's only $0.60 per round, $3.00 for a five man team. Even IL can afford that :-)

So what's the big deal with sending some scumbag murderer there on purpose? Heroin has no medicinal purpose so that is out, there is no such thing as USP Heroin, only street heroin.
But there is USP morphine and methadone. Both strong and capable of a nice eternal sleep. A massive OD of that and a person's breathing and heart rate are permanently interrupted.
And how about that white milky shit given to Michael Jackson? Those folks check out left and right. These prison administrators just don't think like a dope fiend. They need a few junkies to act as advisors. Then they will start dropping again easily enough.
Personally, I think a firing squad is cheap, easy, quick and highly efficient. It is only barbaric to the pukes who have never held a gun. 5 men with rifles can do the job plenty quick. No muss, no fuss, the heart explodes inside, no pain, head drops forward, all over. Ready, aim, fire. Next.

Think about this a moment. Many people have been involved in accidents that they were rendered paralyzed from the neck down,but totally conscious and lucid.
The special knot on a proper gallows set up was supposed to whack you in the head knocking you out.It has to be positioned correctly.
Many medical types feel condemned may be conscious and just asphyxiates,takes a few minutes.
Then there is always the problem of people not doing their homework and using the wrong rope,not conditioning the rope,wrong knot and finally not using the "Drop Table" correctly.

After sentencing they must wait twenty years or live out their natural lives, whichever comes first, before sentence is carried out. Then, if they so much as gasp or cry out the execution is called cruel and unusual and must not happen again. Well, I know it won't happen again to that guy but you know, if someone is afraid and shaking at the thought of being executed, well, we can't have that. They can be tough and everything and rape and pillage and kill but we cannot mistreat the savages,

At least the killers get to sit in jail waiting to get executed. The last meal, a reminder of what could have been if they hadn't been out killing and robbing and raping. Not available legally in any form in the US, Europe, yes. Heroin is a brand name, there is a chemical name, diacetylmorphine. It could be licensed for research etc. for research but is no more. All the research that was going to be done is already done.
USP is pharmacological grade, suitable for dispensing. It does not exist here for heroin. There is different strengths etc. of morphine and cocaine but not heroin. Pure cocaine is used as a topical for eye surgery. Ask a pharmacist or a DEA agent.
