In regard to the latest Missing File scandal:
- Chief Tracy said...More than one occurrence is a pattern, right Garry?
Well, that is what he (and McJerseyShore) says at CompStat whenever the number crunchers find two robberies in a half-mile radius and they rip the shit out of some tongue-tied gold star, isn't it? Not that we feel for the exempt - they know what they signed up for and they get paid to eat shit. But it's funny how that comes around, isn't it?

While we all know some "exempts" that come across as "good guys", essentially they are all whores that have sold their souls.
The "Gold Braid" pension is the biggest scam in the CPD.
Just one big happy loving family.
Makes me wonder how many part one offenses have disappered over the years. Killing crime VIA disappearing case reports, missing files and down graded classifications has been occurring for years in Chicago.
Notice that Garry has been MIA on this one and the Glenview caper.
That would mean there is a pattern of fools from New York, right? The theory checks out.
What goes around comes around.
Not all of them are whores----most, but not all.
004 has a prince. Sorry 010.
Chief Tracy is tuff only because the supt. is his friend when the supt.is gone what will Tracy do? He has no rank or contract, thats why no one gets demoted, he needs friends in high places to keep his job.....

A few comments on past down grading. One of my first paper jobs was a garage burglary with the side door kicked in. The report was kicked back to me by a Lt. who told me to make it a theft and damage to property. Street strong arm robberies were reported as a battery and a theft. Then along came Pam Z.
Prosecution was just as bad. The real kicker was a GSW to an arm or leg. A call to the Detective Division as required, after inquiring if the victim was going to live, and you were told to charge it as a simple battery. The Courts were no better with victims of the "simple batteries" coming to court with no attempt to upgrade the charges. This was all back in the 80s.
Later, some brilliant analyst figured out that today's "shot in the arm or leg" is tomorrow's homicide as the shooter remained at large and aim improved, and incidents were correctly prosecuted.
A pattern is similarities in a crime. Been arguing with Sgts ever since this moron took over. Just because 2 robberies happen in the same area does not make it a pattern.
Same weapon? Same Description? Same MO? If you catch a guy and the robberies continue you haven't cleared the pattern.
Go away Garry and take your group of CONstat/computer bitches with you.
Merit political hacks
When it comes to crime patters, the Area Detective RBT Sergeant is the one who gets hammered, not an exempt.
