"Two brothers were shot outside an apartment complex on the 400 block of North Austin Boulevard in Oak Park Wednesday night, marking the second shooting in a week at the building, police said.
"The brothers, a 36-year-old Oak Park resident and a 37-year-old who gave an Ottawa, Ill., residence, were parked in a lot behind the building when an unknown man approached at about 9 p.m. and shot at them with a handgun, according to an Oak Park Police news release.
"The younger brother was shot in the shoulder and the older man was grazed in the head, the release said. They drove themselves to West Suburban Medical Center.
"On March 27, a 22-year-old man with a history of weapons violations was shot in the leg through the door of an apartment in the building..."
