Crime is Down, Damnit!
Someone isn't getting the memo evidently....or they can't read it:
- Three men were killed and four other people injured in separate shootings Monday night and Tuesday morning on the South and Southwest Sides, authorities said.
- A woman and her two young grandsons were shot Tuesday night in the South Shore neighborhood, police said.
Chicago Police patrolling a block away heard the shooting about 8 p.m. and found the scene at 78th and Kingston, police said.
Can we assume that an increase in VRI dates is on the way? Rahm ain't going to like this one bit - no concealed carry licensees to blame.
And if March comes in like a lamb and leaves like a lion, what do you call it when April comes in like a roaring bitch high on meth?

CRIME IS DOWN -- 4 held, others sought in Near Northwest Side robbery [robberies]
12:19 a.m. CDT, April 2, 2014
"Four people were arrested in a street robbery that left a man injured...in the 1500 block of North Bosworth Avenue...police are looking into whether the group is linked to similar crimes going back several months.
"Nigel Douglas, 18, and Bernita Taylor, 23, both of the 1900 block of North California Avenue, and Travis Slaughtaire, 21, of DeKalb, were each charged with felony robbery...
"No charges have been filed against the fourth man arrested, and at least two other suspects remained at large tonight.
"The victim was attacked by Douglas and at least two other people while Slaughtaire and Taylor acted as lookouts, authorities said.
"Douglas and the other attackers punched the victim in his head and other parts of the body...Douglas then rifled through the victim's pockets and stole his wallet, which contained a debit card and CTA Ventra card...Douglas also allegedly took the victim's cell phone.
"Within 20 minutes after the robbery, Slaughtaire and Taylor went into an Urban Outfitters store and bought $700 worth of merchandise with the victim's debit card...
"Two Chicago police officers with the Area North Saturation Team...eventually found Taylor near North and Western avenues...after learning she might be wearing a brown-and-tan bandanna over her face..."

The ambulances are down with either war zone or bulls__t, so when a little kid gets it --
"The 3-year-old was shot in the right shoulder and taken by police to La Rabida Children's Hospital and then transferred to Comer Children's Hospital
"The injuries to the 3-year-old were not immediately discovered by authorities because he was taken away by a relative who apparently did not realize he had been shot...
"After noticing his wound, the relative brought the boy back to the scene. Video shows a police officer kneeling and scooping him up and running to an unmarked police car, which then speeds off."
“Hopefully we can get the message across without highlighting the fact that no ALS unit is available.” -- OEMC
Oh, I think it's kind of obvious already.
...and the trees haven't even had time to turn green yet, and it's still near-freezing some nights...
But he's comparing the crime of today against the crime of when Chicago had 1 million more people.

The advantages of working in 018. No one to sue in 011
Um, maybe cause the President is here? Ya think? And for the record it was 3 Osprey's and 2 Marine 1 helicopters. Prez gotta get that cash for dummycrats 2014 midterm elections.
It's going to get to a point where your going to have to tell the decent folks in the ghetto they've got to stay inside. Hell it's gotten past that point already.
Crime is down though. Feb. & March see rises in murders, on-duty as well as retired cops getting shot and wounded/killed. Gangbangers are going ream these bullshit stats starting next month
