You want to know why response times are so damn long?
- Those districts place 80% of their cars on "hot spots" and don't allow them to respond to calls. The cars just sit on one spot and don't move the entire shift. They need relief cars to go to the bathroom. There is a couple cars that have to respond to all the 911 calls. They are in a rap but the bosses won't free up the hotspot vehicles. That's why it takes so long for calls to be answered. Besides the district cars there are operation impact, vri, sat, gun, and geu cars working in those districts! There is not a shortage of police in the ghetto districts compared to the non-ghetto districts but a mismanagement of resources!
- What needs to be done is base & compare the number of police personnel according to the population of each district, then the ACLU will have to admit what we have known all along, the black areas have astronomically higher rates of crime than the white and hispanic areas in the city. The ACLU demands more police in these sparsely populated ghettos, they will be the ones perpetuating and supporting race-based policing, destroying all their liberal bullshit and theories for the past 4 decades.

Nice read with data from the census bureau that does just what you ask.....shows that when the areas are predominantly black, crime skyrockets...
and the inverse for white populations...

What needs to be done is that the FUCKING SCABS THAT WORK FOR CPD STOP BEING SCABS. That way, the City will be forced to hire more Coppers and we won't be short-handed.

Most of the southside districts are so far down on manpower it's ridiculous. In 005 it's dangerous. Then what cars are available are running from job to job and shooting to shooting. When you have a shooting, IF there's no unruly crowd that's a minimum of three cars down. Then (as the author mentioned) you have the rapid cars assigned to a box they can't leave (if you have manpower for rapids), a car assigned to the hotspots. And let's not forget the RAP with domestics on the board for an hour because safe passage takes precedence over everything. I could go on and on and on. The distribution of manpower is so screwed. Just do a 9161 search in employee number search and see which tiny burned out districts have the most manpower and which much larger (geographically and population) have substantially fewer officers. Then let's talk about calls for service. In our "good" neighborhoods we don't call the police because little Johnny won't do his homework, is being disrespectful, didn't come home from school, didn't go to school, got his girlfriend pregnant, hit his mama, and my personal favorite- needs to go to Hartgrove. We handle our own issues and only call the police for police related issues.
Oh good grief. Now my blood pressure is up. This city is so screwed. And why am I explaining this on scc when a good portion know exactly what I'm talking about?!?

15th Dist has 9 beats, 1 car/beat plus (4)rapid cars, plus (3)tact plus outside units patrolling an area about 3 square miles.
016th Dist beats 1611 & 1612 approximately same size area has 2 beat cars 1 rapid car assigned to that area, any other car out there is a bonus

VRI is time and a half and assigned by seniority. That follows traditional union rules and pay based on union scale. Go fuck yourself junior and work your $15 an hour bullshit security job.

I doubt anyone would want to do your job even in the "best areas".
Anyone with half a brain knows calls take time.
find a place down there where the aclu can set up an office so they can better understand the people and their circumstances.
Call it somethingn like "the community aclu outreach office".
tell them it's not going to be a "hotspot" as that's not representative of the community, so they won't understand the community.
then go about your business in other places, other calls, etc.
The ALCU can all go fuck themselves. Data doesn't lie when interpreted correctly and without the spin. Let's get some real statisticians (not McStandardDeviation) running the show. Or, is that too much to fucking ask?

Um, no. Liberals will continue to justify their "thinking" (I use that term loosely) by countering with "the numbers just LOOK bad because 'the system' is rigged against po' black offenders. They get convicted more often than whites who commit the same crimes do." So guys, it's YOUR fault that black areas have the most crime, because you ARREST more black offenders than you do whites (racists that you are) and judges JAIL more black offenders than they do whites (racists that they are.) Of course, the fact that more blacks are also VICTIMIZED is just one of them there things that liberals choose to ignore because it doesn't fit into their bigotry.
