Porter Case Still Ongoing

The so-called "Innocence Project" debacle that released hardened killers back into society when a college professor used lies, manufactured evidence, lib-tarded "reporter" Eric Zorn, and offered female journalism students as "favors" to criminals lives on. Anita's people actually transported the guy serving Porter's time back to Chicago for interviews:
  • Cook County prosecutors are scheduled to interview the man whose video confession led to one of the state’s most pivotal wrongful convictions, indicating a reinvestigation of the Anthony Porter case is moving ahead, sources said today.

Prosecutors from the Conviction Integrity Unit plan to interview Alstory Simon on Monday after he is brought to Chicago from the Jacksonville Correctional Center, where he is serving a 37-year prison term.

The interview with Simon is a crucial part of the reinvestigation into the 1982 murders of Marilyn Green and Jerry Hilliard at Washington Park on the city’s South Side. Porter, who was convicted of the murders and sentenced to death, came within days of a lethal injection, but his execution was delayed after his lawyers raised questions about his mental competency. He was exonerated in 1999 following an investigation by David Protess, then a Northwestern University journalism professor, several of his students and a private investigator.
Simon has disavowed his confession for a decade now, and the recently released book by CPD Officer Martin Preib "Crooked City" touches heavily on the mistakes, errors and deliberate manipulation of fact by the involved parties to release Porter from Death Row and the homicides he certainly committed.

On a side note, Simon is serving a 37-year sentence, but due for release in August 2017 -  half of the listed sentence. You'd think that after alleging that Simon kept Porter behind bars (and on Death Row) for 17 years by not coming forward, prosecutors would have wanted to ensure the right guy spent all that time plus more behind bars. Nope - Devine's people just wanted someone in jail and didn't look to closely at all the holes in Simon's confession and in Protess' so-called "investigation."

The "Innocence Project" people had the best of intentions and meant well. As long as they had those things actual facts were optional and they could feel good about what they were doing. It is a wonderful thing to be able to live in a glowing world of moral surety, and to be able to ignore real world facts.

Northwestern has become a joke and quite the school of degenerates. Lies passed as journalism and live sex shows in class. The added bonus of a communist radical wife of Bill Ayers teaching law, or rather brainwashing young minds to accept communist ideology as gospel. Parents sending their children there should have their heads examined. But they will gladly pay the overpriced bill to these animals.

It would be a good thing if all the right people were to hang for this travesty of springing murdering shit-birds from prison to forward the lib-tard agenda.

Just curious... Is anyone going to revisit the allegations against Burge?

Just sayin'...

Since all the wraps are off about how fucking sordid this whole affair was.

Or are they afraid they'll end up having to let Burge walk too?

Or is this a case of "somebody has to pay for this no matter who."

Spend a hundred grand plus to have some university professor pimp your daughter out to a convict! Which is worse, that, or having a would be murderer like Bill Ayers and his murdering female accomplice teaching them? Tough choice.

How about neither? How about the alumni hold back the cash until clowns like these are out of academia?

There I go, wishing for that perfect world again.

---------------

Just so you know, Quinn's new rule at DOC is that any inmate within 2 years of his out date gets kicked back into civilization. For example, a person sentenced to 4 years on a Class 1 will be released virtually the minute he touches down in prison -- 4 years day-for-day means 2 years actual time, and 2 years actual time puts you instantly within 2 years of your release date. And yet....to low-information voters, you've "served a 4-year sentence."

So, with a 2017 out date, he'll be out next year.

David Protess and his investigator Paul Ciolino are total and absolute lying, evil frauds who embarked on this crusade for nothing but selfish money-based motives - books, movies, royalties, etc. Their debased methods corrupted Northwestern students and freed a killer and put an innocent man behind bars. If goodness exists in this world, Protess and Ciolino will be fully exposed to the world, Alstory Simon will be freed and sue the bejezsus out of Protess and Ciolino. Anita Alvarez might be a woman but she had balls that others lacked to expose this fraud which has been the source of an undeserved credibility deficit for law enforcement across the board. PS Eric Zorn should resign.

It depends on who you ask. Either the timekeepers are lazy and/or incompetent, or court is not sending the slips back to the unit, or the clear system went down, or Rahm is trying to...

It seems that Devine never fully looked into the "investigation" by the northwestern innocence project. They succumbed to the hype put out by felon George Ryan. With the scheduled release of Alstory in 2017, I suspect that Alvarez will prolong this until he is out and then forget about it. Northwestern is a powerful university and many alumni in key positions in this state.

Fascinating reading! Amazing to even just get a glimpse at just how deep the rabbit hole goes. You couldn't make this stuff up even if you tried. How can these people even live with themselves by framing another man and putting a murderer back on the streets!? It's sickening the more I think about what they've done and the lengths they were willing to go. Liberals are willing to prove they're right at any cost, integrity be damned.

As I have previously stated on this blog, I stand by our investigation which we conducted in August 1982. My hope is that the States Attorneys Office puts in the time and effort as Officer Marty Prieb did when he conducted the research for his book Crooked City. If one reads his book one will learn that the original investigation DID INFACT ARREST THE RIGHT PERSON. One will also learn how the "Innocence Project" conducted their investigation. My hope is that the States Attorneys Office puts all political considerations aside and does the right thing. Respectfully Sgt of Police Chas W Salvatore

Martin Prieb's book is a must-read -- he took this one case, spurred by curiosity, and found that the official version shilled by the Northwestern Innocence Project was a lie, concealed by scores of journalists and academicians.

If only we had a Guilty Project to do the same with the millions of never-prosecuted or never-convicted cases, as well as the dozens of very questionable ones in the Innocence Project dataset.

One down, at least.

Exposes a lot about the lazy media, and many political agendas.

In the end, the cops were held to eat the shit sandwiches for society.

I've had my fill of them.

It's time for Zorn, Mills, Protess and the rest of them to eat off the same plate they served me.

Let Chicago crumble to the criminals and their supporters.

Hey, Charles, I know you well for many years. You are a person of competence and integrity. However, the Cook County States Attorney is neither so don't expect much from them. Too bad. They want this matter to go away for it tarnishes people with connections, such as the Tribune, Northwester Law School. But, we can only hope.

This is what the communist Bernardine Dohrn, wife of communist Bill Ayers, said of the murder of the pregnant Sharon Tate by the Manson family clan.

"First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the pig Tate's stomach! Wild!"

Now she teaches your children at Northwestern University. Is there any question why they do what they do?
