Rahm's former comptroller, the one that no one managed to discover that he was named in an indictment in Ohio before coming here, has taken off running:
- Facing up to 15 years in prison and stripped of his U.S. passport, Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s former city comptroller ordered his wife this week “to get him a fake birth certificate from Pakistan for a passport,” according to court records obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Now, Amer Ahmad is on the lam, and a judge issued a warrant Friday for his arrest.
He spent the time after trial (allegedly) beating his wife, terrorizing their children and planning an escape overseas. Any bets on which border they find him at?

Wasn’t it Rahm who introduced an ordnance that allowed the Ahmer to purchase insurance policies without a competitive bidding process. And, following that Ahmer hired former Ohio state congressman James Raussen as his deputy to oversee the purchasing of insurance policies, and then the city paid $2.7 million to an Ohio firm for insurance brokerage services. That same firm had donated money to Raussen’s state campaign fund. Didn’t Lois Scott, Neely and Ahmad lead the charge to increase the Retirement Board’s insurance. Hope they catch him and he flips on them all. Rham can then explain how his hand picked investigators missed that.
Shifty "commissioned" an investigation into this slimeball that cost Chicago taxpayers almost a million dollars.
And naturally, the investigators found no wrongdoing.

The nonpartisan group evaluated both candidates and determined that Thompson was less corrupt than Cermak.

The City of Chicago wasted $800,000+ in legal fees investigating this guy because the little prick wanted it to be an open process. Well then, open your personal checkbook Rahm and reimburse the City for your poor personnel selection choice. This City is suffering by death from 1000 cuts because no one is held accountable for their fuck up's and the city council keeps approving settlements and we end up paying for it in higher taxes. 800 grand could have been better spent on paying down our pension deficit. Every little bit helps.
