How Many per Day?
- One man is dead and seven other people were injured in separate daytime shootings today, police said.
Of course, this was only during daylight Wednesday. Perhaps our buddies over at HeyJackass.com can run an average per day for April and May 2014? Maybe it isn't quite 8.

Just like they said in the academy, only one in eight shot die, on average that is.
Modern medicine is saving those who don't need to be saved. Everything happens for a reason.
Figure a conservative 7 shot per day. Over a year that gives a grand total of 2,555 souls a year being shot in Chicago. Of course it could come out more than that.
It's all the fault of those evil guns.
That cauldron of evil known as the southside is about to boil over and explode onto the beaches, Michigan Ave, Boystown, Wrigleyville, etc...in addition to the daily local score settling and blood letting. The pace is about to pick up.

Police is going to be thin in neighbor hoods since the president and corporate donors will be in attendance at a $25,000.00 a plate fundraiser. A big money political campaign finance laundering scheme is more important than the children of Chicago. This is a black tie event and you broke ass scrubs are kept at a distance. Police will reassigned from street crime suppression duties to guard the limos, the foreign sports cars and the corporate jets assuring a safe passage of this out of control hometown of the big guy. The mayor don’t want to be embarrassed with stories of his donors getting robbed, getting mugged, getting hustled squeegee entrepreneurs or getting their rides out of dodge stolen or damaged. Dems can’t seem to locate a venue time and time again in the communities of color. They must be embarrassed to showcase the urban conditions on display and the deplorable plight of the expendable little peoples. Its gonna be a busy warm night and once again we will have to do a lot more with a lot less.
OT-Thanks to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation that recently came to roll call in 015-3rd watch and presented a check to one of the officers whose daughter is fighting leukemia.
I guess I need home monitoring bracelets for all of my firearms. I need to find out what they are doing when I am not carrying them. Perhaps they are sneaking out of the safe and popping off rounds on their own. We all know it is the guns committing the violence, and not the fault of the people pulling the trigger.

If I were president I would of landed at Midway and would of had our motorcade drive threw the side streets on the West side instead of landing at O'Hare. Nothing to see there sir we need to move along.

As soon as the playoffs wind up I will be back. Right now I am a little busy with Hawks game on Saturday; but SUNDAY to MONDAY will be very hectic with huge Brandon Marshall type numbers being delivered to the Christ Hosp. ER.....Chalkie.
Too much hockey asks: If the Christ ER room closed for two hours this weekend...would that be like Chalkie making a goal into an empty net? BURP..there is a connection, just cannot mix any more apples and oranges right now.
