More important. ....like the cost of the city sticker vs. The quality of the roads.
If I own my pickup for 10 years and the cost of a city sticker never increases, I will pay the city of Chicago 2,000.00 in city sticker fees.

The important thing is that government be in control of everything of a public nature. Putting names on buildings included. Big government is the only entity we the people can really trust.
Maybe Trump has yet to support Rham or pay his dues to his brother Ari in California. That's why Trump is getting push back from the Hall.
I don't remember hearing any complaints about the huge Essex Inn sign.
The Trump sign looks great. It's pretty understated. Definitely not gaudy.
Then take down the name Leighton at the criminal court building of Cook County at 26th & California. And while you're at it the Stroger name can come down from County Hospital.
Trump owns the buildings, he can put up a "Fuck You Rham" sign for all I care.
Like everything else about Trump the sign is gaudy and in poor taste. However, it is his building and if he wants to make it an eyesore go ahead.

Go to cityofchicago.org, click report pot hole,enter address. You can leave your cell number for a text when work is complete. I have used it many times. Worked every time usually within 4 days
If I was trump I'd put up one of those electronic billboards that Rahm likes to much.
On it would be a city homicide map and shooting count that updates real time so the tourist would know where to go. In between the updates would be the graffiti pictures like on that twitter site called Chicago Tags

I bought a rifle from a friend when I was young and we lived in Austin. I rode home on a bicycle to my house on Superior near Austin with my new rifle strapped to my back. No problem.
