And once again, just some asshole shooting at some other asshole:

• Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said witnesses have identified [Tevin] Lee as the gunman who fired four or five shots toward that building last Friday night “without care or regard for the safety of anyone else.”
  
  Lee, described by McCarthy as a known gang member, was trying to retaliate against rival gangbangers after an associate of his had been beaten up in a fist fight a few hours earlier, McCarthy said.
  
  “Unfortunately, his intended targets were standing beside the home in which Shamiya and her friends were innocently playing,” the superintendent told reporters at a packed news conference at police headquarters.

Well done to all the involved parties - coppers, detectives, support units. A hell of a heater case handled efficiently and professionally. You don't nearly hear that enough.
