Nice Headline

We're sure that everyone is shocked by this...everyone who doesn't pay attention much.

We imagine they'd be amazed at the number of murders that occur within a map of graduated concentric circles emanating from the home of the president. Say, within half-a-mile, one full mile, one-and-one-half miles, two miles. It would make for a very interesting statistic.

Anyone have a map and a compass?

Coming five hours after a shooting in the Longwood Manor neighborhood that left three other boys hurt, the shooting brought to five the number of boys 17 or younger shot on the South Side Monday night.

Mental note...teach my boys who are less than 17 years old to not be out late at night, to not stand at corners, and to not talk to people in dark vans.

When these kids' parents start acting like parents, maybe the shooting rate will go down.

Obama creating sectarian violence in the USA like has being done to divide and conquer the middle east.

US border patrol is bringing about 140 illegal immigrants minors to this small town in Cal. for processing EVERY 72 hours.

Once processed they are given transportation vouchers to where every they would like to go.

Building a voter base I guess. Some call that gerrymandering.

Check out FOX news Megan Kelly's interviews with Ayers on 30 Jun & 1 Jul. See what he has to say about Chicago Police officers. http://hotair.com/archives/2014/07/02/its-all-about-jobs-in-illinois-900-of-them/

"... A report by the Illinois Policy Institute finds that only 500 jobs were created in the state from August 2013 to May 2014, ranking it among the worst in the country over that period. Among Midwestern states, Illinois ranked last, well behind the next closest, South Dakota.

The time period corresponds with the academic year, with IPI noting that there was about one job created for every 300 high school seniors.

This year alone, Illinois is last in job creation and one of just four states with negative job creation. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the state has lost 26,300 jobs since January.

Things are tough all over, but what could explain this? It’s impossible to point to any single factor, but here are a few that might come to mind:

For one thing, Illinois is the 5th highest taxed state in the nation. And that’s only because they still have to compete with states like New York, California and Connecticut. (Tough competition.)

The state is also in the ten most restrictive states when it comes to gun rights. Crime may be a big problem in Illinois, but don’t try taking any steps to defend yourself.

Illinois is also home to the 4th most dangerous city in the country for women who wish to avoid being raped, assaulted or killed. (Shockingly, that city is Springfield, which somehow beat out Chicago for the honors.)

There are others should you wish to browse, but that provides a pretty good flavor of the situation. What explains all of these dubious top rankings? Could it be the long history of extensively liberal policies, repression of business and nanny state intrusion?

California Bill AB 1014 up for vote.

CHAPTER 2. Ex Parte Gun Violence Restraining Order

18101. 18102.
(a) Any person may submit an application to the court, on a form designed by the Judicial Council, setting forth the facts and circumstances necessitating that a gun violence restraining order be issued. A court may issue an ex parte gun violence restraining order shall be issued to prohibit a named person from possessing a firearm if an affidavit, made in writing and signed by the applicant petitioner under oath, or an oral statement taken pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (a) of Section 18103, and any additional information provided to the court demonstrates, to the satisfaction of the court, on a showing of good cause that the named person subject of the petition poses a significant risk of personal injury to himself or herself or others himself, herself, or another by possessing firearms. having under his or her custody and control, owning, purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm as determined by balancing the factors identified in subdivision (b) of Section 1803 and, if the court elects to consider them, the factors identified in subdivision (c) of Section 18103.

(b)A firearms seizure warrant may not be issued but upon probable cause, supported by an affidavit, naming or describing with reasonable specificity the facts and circumstances justifying the order and listing any firearm or firearms to be seized pursuant to the order.

(c)A firearm described in the firearms seizure warrant may be taken from any place, or from any person in whose possession the firearm may be.
(b) An affidavit supporting a petition for the issuance of an ex parte gun violence restraining order shall set forth the facts tending to establish the grounds of the petition, or the reason for believing that they exist.
(c) An ex parte order under this chapter shall be issued or denied on the same day that the petition is submitted to the court, unless the petition is filed too late in the day to permit effective review, in which case the order shall be issued or denied on the next day of judicial business in sufficient time for the order to be filed that day with the clerk of the court.

"
A bump at the pump? Senators propose a 12-cent hike in federal gas tax.

By Ashley Halsey III June 18

A bipartisan Senate proposal emerged Wednesday to rescue beleaguered federal transportation funding by raising the tax on gasoline by 12 cents a gallon.

The proposal to hike the 18.4-cent federal tax for the first time since 1993 came from Sens. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and won quick endorsement from an array of advocates ranging from road builders to AAA.

In addition to increasing the tax by 6 cents in each of the next two years, the senators want the rate indexed to inflation. Failure to keep pace with inflation over the past 20 years, along with steadily increasing fuel economy, has caused the Federal Highway Trust Fund that receives the money to sink to a dangerous level."

AND....

ComEd’s rate increase request, if approved by the ICC, would go into effect in January 2015 and add $3 to the average monthly electricity bill. ComEd’s 2014 rate hike added about $5.50 per month to the average bill. The latest request, filed in April, is the utility's fourth under a formula-based rate-making process established by a law passed in 2011 to modernize the electrical grid. The idea is to add digital technology that can automatically repair equipment during outages, eliminate meter readers and reduce electricity theft.

You expect better? Look at who they teach, it's amazing these nit-wits learn anything. If a black student tries to work hard and get an education, the other crabs in the bucket pull him back into the bucket. What, you trying to be "white"? That's the new insult in the US, "white". The liberals are embarrassed to be "white". It's an insult, you know, being "white". Hispanics here have little use for an education, don't need that to do menial jobs or to be in a gang.

The good schools in Chicago, the ones that have large numbers of "white" and asian students ARE WORLD CLASS SCHOOLS. Whitney Young, Near North College Prep, Walter Payton and Lane. The problem is there are too many students that are allowed to be in school that shouldn't be there. Face it, the liberals don't want these minority kids to get an education, it might be hard on their self esteem for them to be told, dumb ass, you have an 83 IQ, you have a 4th grade reading level and a 3rd grade math level, no, you're not going to be president, we have a stupid one now and we're only allowed a dope every 40 years or so, you will not be a doctor or a lawyer, almost a lawyer, but not quite. Your skills are on par with a landscaper, bus boy or MAYBE a security guard, get to it. If you want better, work with what you've got, quit harassing the student next to you, stop heckling the teacher or get the fuck out and get a job! Oh, shit, I forgot, none of this is necessary, go on SSI and get paid.
