No CompStat Again?
This means at least 5 out of the last 6 CompStat meetings have been canceled.
If you can't do the job (and the job includes all these tedious meetings that supposedly directly impact crime rates) then maybe it's time for someone else to have a shot at the top spot.
Seems the only people doing their jobs and reducing crime on a daily basis are the blue shirts.

If he's not having Compost meetings, it's not by choice. Someone must have told him to ditch the grandstanding at the dog and pony show. Notice his profile is getting lower and lower. Soon, it'll be nonexistent and people will be saying 'Garry who'?

From what I understand compstat meetings are basically a chance for him to publicly REAM district Commanders in front of the public

Like a Biblical voice in the wilderness I am going to tell your followers that CompStat is the least of their problems because Charlie Williams will return to the CPD as it's next superintendent. He has already met with Rahm. With Charlie coming on board the M1 and M4 votes are sown up since he has a foot in each world due to his extensive contacts and relationships from Englewood to Humboldt Park. You can bet your last Guiness Stout on the return of IAD Pontifex Maximus Charlie! If you guys think the current boss was a tough nut, wait until Charles Williams returns. Deuce it will be like a combination snow storm, flood, earthquake, and typhoon all happening at once. Charlie will thoroughly remake the department from top to bottom. Each District will have its own inquisition era CompStat that will reach all the way down to the Sector and Beat level. Charlie has a long memory and the tough and cruel decision making prowress of a 14th Century warlord on the steepes of Central Asia. Folks you guys will be begging for the return of the good old days of the current regime. Right now from his perch at Streets and Sanitation, Charlie is watching who has been nice and who has been naughty and he is fresh out of bumbblegum. I think it is clear that Rahm and McCarthy stopped trying to truly fight crime long ago, thinking they are both so clever they are focusing most of their energy and attention to manipulating the number of crimes reported and encouraging to aggressively influencing the way crimes are coded by the POs. They are quite good at this game esp lately with Homicides (which are more difficult to cover up) See the Medical examiner has determined the cause of death to be homicide for 326 individuals in Chicago since the 1st of the year,included in that total are 12 killed by police. If we do not include those 12. then we have 314 homicides. But the CPD claimed there have been only 298 homicides. Where and how are they hiding those homicides?
I know one thing this city will not survive another 4 yrs of either of these clowns (Rahm and McCarthy) Please vote and encourage everyone you know to vote!

Can we teach these poor kids some marksmanship lessons? Less dead but more shootings? You people are terrible shots. You have a 15.4% kill rate. Prob less if you count all the kids youve shot on accident.
So id like funding to start "Aim Not Maim".
We can have cops, FBI, and Staties all teaching these kids how to aim their legally owned, and concealed weapons. Maybe Tio from CeaseFire can manage the program.
Rahm can also count the ANM classes toward CPS degrees and hand out scholarships to the city colleges.

For as big of a buffoon that Gary is he has done little if any to hurt working police. Be very careful wishing for his replacement. It will be far worse with someone else. Just look at the option the Cpd has to pick from.
If you notice, they only have CompStat when the Area that's up makes McConceited look good. When the numbers are really bad there's no meeting and we get the "crime is down folks" press conference. So predictable yet so pitiful
He's figured if the prez can miss over half of his daily briefing and people still believe the BS, then why not.

Think the difference is that you are talking homicides, Rahm and McCarthy are talking murders. Big difference.
As far as Chicago not surviving another 4 years of these guys. Take it to the bank, Chicago will survive and be here 4 years from now. Don't be so dramatic.

Superintendents never last long in this town, no matter who they are or who the mayor is. They are hired to be fired. But, for all of the complaining going on, maybe the police officers themselves should form a committee and lay out their version of a crime fighting program?.
That's funny.....our Compstat ( suckass) officer is still taking in copious amounts of OT yet there's no meetings.
Not complaining at all about the job. The officers I work with are the reason this job is great. I ignore all the other nonsense and focus on the good.
