This is Kind of ... Something

We can't say it's cool because an Officer died.

We can't say ironic, because irony signals something opposite, sometimes with meaning only to insiders

Impressive in its own right:
  • A seven-week dragnet in the woods of northeastern Pennsylvania came to an end with the capture of survivalist Eric Frein, whose wrists were bound with the handcuffs of the trooper he is accused of killing, officials said late Thursday.

Frein's arrest ended one of the largest manhunts in Pennsylvania history. He will face first-degree murder charges that could carry the death penalty, a prosecutor said.

Searchers spotted Frein about 6 p.m. near an abandoned airport hanger and ordered him to surrender, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said at a late-night news conference in Hawley. Frein was taken by surprise and gave up peacefully, Noonan said.

The cuffs of the dead officer, Cpl. Bryon Dickson, were placed on Frein's wrists, Noonan said, and Frein was placed in Dickson's car.
The symbolism is actually quite powerful - Corporal Dickson's final arrest in a way, of the asshole who killed him. Not much comfort to the family of course, but maybe to his fellow troopers and law enforcement personnel who have hunted day and night in all sorts of weather for this slimeball, using the corporal's equipment before it's removed from service. Well done Gentlemen.

Glad they caught him. Glad they took him alive, so the little twerp will not become some sort of martyr.

Rough business, all this wild-eyed crashing through the underbrush with dogs baying after you and helicopters criss-crossing overhead. Sgt. Whipped Branch stated that Krein had those scrapes and the swollen-up, purple nose when he was captured. That's official.

Thought he was supposed to be this almighty, sharp shootin, badass, survivalist?
To me, "Surrendered Peacefully" translates to Feared An Armed Confrontation, When He Didn't Have The Element of Surprise in His Favor. Which further translates to COWARD Ass Bitch.
Rot In Hell!

That put him in the Trooper's vehicle too after he was captured.

Some really good hard work by the Law Enforcement agencies out in Pennsylvania.

Objective achieved through hard work and dedication by all involved on behalf of that 'Thin Blue Line.'

Rest in peace Cpl. Dickson knowing that your brothers and sisters always had your back until the end.

The fantasy in this 30 something year old's head while living in his parent's basement wasn't supposed to end up with him having a broken nose after a slapdown, cuffed and tossed into the back of a police car.
Hopefully this soft boy will be the cellboy of someone the rest of his life.

couldn't do that here, they would get cr on you immediately . you would be stripped by that moron o'neil cause he afraid of lawsuits. More active regular and full duty police doing nothing in call back because they on house arrest for over 2 years.

He was captured by a team of US Marshals. Saw them live on Fox News. Looked like a Seal team. Team leader said something told him to search the grounds of a closed resort. Also said bad guy went to his knees immediately when confronted and did not appear to have been on the run all of this time. He said he and his guys' looked worse.

Has he been at Eric Holder's for the last five weeks?
