Protests Over What Exactly?

  • Traffic on Lake Shore Drive has been brought to a stand-still after hundreds of protesters began marching Thursday in response to news that a New York City grand jury failed to indict a white police officer in the chokehold death of an unarmed black man.

The grand jury decision has sparked a series of marches throughout the nation.

Locally, protesters started marching from the Loop to 18th Street near the Dan Ryan Expressway. Several protesters darted past police and ran onto the southbound Dan Ryan before they were removed by officers, according to video of the incident.
And this has what to do with Chicago? Nothing that we can see.

Then there's the fact of the deceased weighing 350 pounds, his extensive heart disease, his asthma, the fact that he was able to yell not once, not twice, but TEN times that he couldn't breathe - if you can yell, you can breathe, you're just wasting the breath fighting. Oh, and he didn't die of "choking," he died of a heart attack an hour later. But those facts don't get reported on in the mainstream media.

Here's the issue as seen by AceOfSpades:
  • ...we actually pay them [the police] to use force when a law-breaking suspect (even one breaking a trivial law) resists arrest. That is the job we've given them.

To say this guy is guilty of murder or manslaughter seems to me to be a case of scapegoating the people we've tasked with implementing a policy that we have imposed ourselves.

If trivial laws should not provide grounds for arrest, We should change the laws to say so.

If cops should just let a non-compliant but non-felony suspect go if he resists arrest, we should make that officially part of their job description.

We did something similar -- wrongly, I think, but we did it-- when we made it police policy to let felony flight cases just drive away, rather than engage in a high-speed chase. (Except when cops suspect a major felony.)
The bottom line - if you don't want cops enforcing the law, then stop passing laws and telling the police to enforce them. When arrested, you don't get to resist arrest. Period. The law says so. You resist, there are rules in place to overcome your resistance. You are not a "jury of one" deciding what laws apply to you. Cops are authorized by the duly elected authority to overcome resistance.

The left is trying to make cases that don't exist. A "gentle giant" gunned down in Ferguson over stolen cigars - leaving out the attack and attempted disarming of a police officer. A "loosie" seller "choked" to death, completely leaving out the active resistance of a lawful, appropriate arrest. There will be plenty more cases created by the agenda driven media.

At 1:54 minutes in, squad cars surrounded and protestors being moved off the Dan Ryan. Thank God you're all safe and made it home, be safe everyone!

So why are you ignoring the fact that his death was ruled a homicide and that the officer didn't use proper protocol to subdue a resisting suspect?

People are upset because a white oppressor choked a black oppressed man. Cops are viewed in the neighborhood as an. occupying force (the President himself said so. The mayor of NYC does not look favorably on the police, nor do the leftist/socialist politicians. City leadership will badmouth the police to gain favor and votes with the mob and underclass. It is all simple politics.

Sounds like a classic case of excited delirium. Mr. Garner did not succumb to injuries consistent with being choked, or an airway blockage, nor strangulation. Mr. Garner died because he was all hopped up, resisted arrest, and was taken down and with his obesity, diabetes, asthma, and his heart condition his ticker just could not handle all the excitement and resisting. He died of a heart attack which I believe was induced by excited delirium. A couple old buddies in 006 a few years ago locked up a hype nicknamed "black Jesus," at a gas station on State street and by the time they got this hype back to the lockup, he was DEAD. The two officers didn't do anything to him. The arrestee was all hopped up. Excited delirium. This is no different. If you can say "I can't breathe" then you are BREATHING. This nonsense has got to stop.

This protest was an utter disaster. 4100 allowed these people to break every law and bring law abiding citizens to a stand still because he was afraid to arrest anyone. This could have been stopped an hour into it by simply enforcing the laws. But no when you have "leaders" who are afraid of their own shadows you just sit back and let the few inconvience the many. This place is an embarrassment.

One way to "fix" the wild-assed out of control Police so they can stop genociding all the young men in communities of color.

They'll get back to you on a cure for communities of color performing the death cult rituals that made the 10 o'clock news for the last 40+ years.

I was out there tonight on Lake Shore drive while the white Protestors. And a few Black Protestors were filming us and yelling. I seen a White Girl with her camera phone filming us. She was holding the camera in the air. Then some black guy grabbed the girls phone and took off into the crowd. The girl then approached the cop next to me and stated that this black guy just grabbed her cell phone. The cop next to me raised his arms up and stated 'Don't call the police'. I started laughing and she turned to me and asked why I was laughing.I stated you don't like or want the police around so you go chase that black guy. She stated that's your job to protect me and my Property. I stated you are protesting me from doing my job. She walked away crying

Don't forget that Indiana passed a law in 20212 that gives 'the right to resist' up to use of deadly force.

"The measure specifies that people are protected by the state's self-defense law if they reasonably believe force is necessary to protect themselves, someone else or their own property from unlawful actions by a public servant."
(see policeone.com)

Citizens that never took a civics class or passed their constitution test love to tell everybody what their rights are. Especially what they hear on tv.

And no more imbeciles are going to run into the middle of an expressway...

Same deal with LSD - let them get hit. There was a case I read a long time ago - might have been to the appellate level - some moron got hit crossing LSD somewhere other than a crosswalk.

Judge held that it wasn't the driver's fault - that the Court was reticent to make pedestrians fodder for motor vehicles, but the fact that the highway was cordoned off from pedestrian traffic, and the fact that a pedestrian overpass was a mere 250 ft away meant that the pedestrian (now deceased) was 100% at fault.

Same thing should apply here - walk onto an active highway? BOOM! BANG! POW! We'll get that cleaned right up... next...

Once *THAT* gets known to be the case, instead of this "pedestrian walks into traffic and the driver is always at fault nonsense" that pedestrians believe - and some of this shit might end.

Stir in a helping of holding the schmucks who rile up these groups liable *cough* Flager *cough* and it might come to an end...

Protest all you want - do it on the sidewalk. Don't block traffic or driveways or doorways... Be peaceable, and it's all good... anything else? shouldn't be tolerated in the least

It was mostly white people marching. Biggest demographic represented that I saw were white females ages 18 to 25. The vast majority of people not involved in this nonsense were very supportive of the police giving thumbs up and words of encouragement. My favorite part was when the Bears game ended and the fans (both Bears and Cowboys) leaving the stadium started giving the "protesters" a hard time and telling them that they were the problem with this country not the police.

These asshole national media trolls need to investigate how Officer Richard Francis was murdered. A simple call of known offender can lead to an officer being murdered with his own weapon. Brown and Garner we're massive men and could have easily disarmed a police officer. If a female causing a disturbance on a bus can disarm and murder Officer Francis then these 2 felons could have murdered these officers very fast.

I'm getting tired of reading the hateful, race-baiting BS the media is putting out. Previously, the story was just about Eric being killed by police. Now (the same way it was said with Ferguson), the media advertises "the WHITE police Officer" and the "unarmed BLACK male". It's ridiculous. Why is color a factor in this? The media ignores the initial call, the police talking to this jag, Eric flat out telling the cops he is tired of their harassment and that he is NOT going to jail at all, the fact he continued to resist and he died from a damn heart attack and NOT the choke hold. HOW IS THE MEDIA ALLOWED TO PUBLISH ABSOLUTE BS WITHOUT REPERCUSSION?? It is blatant race-baiting and trying to create a war.

The ability of the police to use force has been slowly and steadily eroded. Police used to be able to fire at fleeing felons years ago. The supreme court put a stop to that use of force. It is up to the legislatures and the police departments to provide the police with the proper law and guidelines to follow. If they want the police to not use force against resisters, just make it policy and we will (reluctantly) comply. However, don't expect officers on the street to independently and unilaterally decide to stop doing what they know to be their job. If an arrestee resists, the police will use the necessary force to effect an arrest. As of now that is the law and also the policy. If an arrestee is a threat, police will use the necessary force to neutralize the threat.

He was an active resistor and the officer did nothing wrong. If you are going to resist a lawful order then you should be in better shape.

The street judges and alley lawyers have never been in a position where force needs to be used against someone. They have no point of reference, they have no experience, and they need to shut the fuck up.

Put on a uniform. Stand a post. Work a beat. Work in any position where force is used against you and force necessary for defense before you pass judgement on someone else.

Simple solution. Misdemeanor or felony, if the offender does not want to get arrested, don't arrest him. Record everything, get id if possible and then turn it over to a special group of preachers, politicians and neighborhood community leaders and let them bring the offender in later for processing. A great buffer between police and race bating. Let them show us how it's done.

The public (at least part of it) wants to have a law about everything and tax it too. (Possession of large soft drinks? Can you see yourself handcuffing people for that?) They're forgetting that laws require enforcement and enforcement requires force. But when force needed for enforcement is way out of proportion to force (if any at all) used in a so-called crime, they are setting you guys/gals and their fellow citizens up for risk of tragic consequences, and that's not fair to anybody. You are supposed to be there to counter illegitimate force with legitimate force and we should let you do that.

Not a job action, not a strike, but just answer the radio. Give the report. Solve the neighbor/neighbor parking disputes, handle the alarms, traffic accidents and noise disturbances , but that's it. No street stops, no arrests unless it's absolutely necessary. Just like the other post said, "that guy stole my phone"....oh well.

So when one of these "loosie" sellers gets arrested and fined the City of New York realizes a cash flow into the city coffers. Just like ordinance violations, traffic fines, red light cams, speed cams etc. it all adds to the city revenue for the year. Stop that flow and the city piggy bank runs dry. The politicians will scream and moan and the bosses of the PD will have the heat applied to them. They apply the heat to the troops and tell them to do what? Make arrests, write traffic, parkers, ord. violations etc that eventually lead to confrontations like in NYC. It's all about the revenue and the cops generate that revenue thru those fines from people arrested / written up for crimes and various violations. In effect the city, along with police administration are forcing confrontations as the kind in NYC. Again, if you try and do your job you will suffer the consequences of doing it. Have you ever seen one of the so called "dog asses" ever get jammed up for doing nothing? The writing is, has been, on the wall for years. Don't do anything. Answer the radio, make a report, go home.

Now I have civilians asking me who Car 41 is.
It seems they got fed up with the traffic snarls caused by the anarchist protestors and used their smartphones to check the police radio transmissions. They both wanted to know who the idiot on car 41 was .... they said he couldn't shut up and sounded like a fool

Not in law enforcement here, just a regular citizen. And I still, and always will, believe in our officers. I've never been arrested, got a ticket, or hassled by LE when I wasn't guilty. Yep, guilty every time. Twice, as a matter of fact, 20 years ago, but I never thought about not obeying the officers. Please gentlemen, don't give up, a lot of people still believe in you and the job you do. You really are the only thing left between civilization and chaos.

It amazed me to see the racial, age and financial make up of the protesters .....said one local street news reporter. How could he tell the financial make up of anyone? What one can see is that the traffic slowing (impeding) protesters with signs that are fiction based and proven so by scientific examination are carried by the college crew who have not had their own bra burning eventt or Vietnam or a bunch of men all marching on the capitol lead by a tax evading fraud so they feel this is their march. Even though they purposely avoid the facts that completely diminish their logic to pick this as their fight. Why didn't they protest for Vick.......oh yeah four legged dogs (of which I love dearly) do not deserve such attention. Yet we donate more money to feed the cats,, dogs and homeless lamas than we do for our fallen military or starving children here in the U.S. yep these goofs need to lay down in the street with their heads resting on their fellow protesters ' bellies while people with real jobs cant get to them on time. Yeah some of us taxpayers do work the late shift. I'm thinking about lying across the thresholds of some starbucks impeding your route to that all important bowling class at UIC you need so desperately to raise your grade point average of the Bongos and their use in the workplace degree your stretching for.

Lots are about ready to just show up and go through the motions. It's evident that people do not want police to be proactive. When you can put an officer in front of a grand jury for attempting to gain control of an active resistor, it's time to sit on your hands. Sick of hearing how the law was a petty crime law. If you don't want police to enforce the petty law, then take it off the books! A law is a law is a law! Police have a job to enforce the law! If police give a lawful order to put your hands behind your back, you DO it! If you don't want cops making those arrests, change the law! Use your protests to change the laws, not protest cops who arrest active resistors! This has nothing to do with race! An F1 sergeant was on scene and monitoring the situation. Stop saying it was about race.

So why are you ignoring the fact that his death was ruled a homicide and that the officer didn't use proper protocol to subdue a resisting suspect?

1. Anytime a human is killed by another human it is a homicide. If someone walks into a movie theatre and starts shooting everyone and the police respond and kill him it would be a homicide.
2. When was the last time you subdued a 350lb active resistor. It's not as easy as it is in the movies. But I'm sure you could have done it.

With that being said ---

THANK YOU CPD! My family and I made it into the city to the game and back out with no problems. The strong police presence made us feel safe! I didn't see any of these idiot protestors and they never got the chance to fuck up my night. I would have loved to have the opportunity to tell the protestors to go fuck themselves, but maybe another time.

Thank you again! As a suburban resident I am sure what I have to say doesn't matter all that much, but I can't imagine the shit you guys deal with and I appreciate the fact that one the rare times I went into the city to do something (and spend some money), I was able to do so safely because of CPD keeping these idiots at bay.

It's just amazing. We have had years of Black children dying in this city as a result of gangbanger stray bullets and not a fucking peep out of these Leftist do gooders.

Typically, there are about 14,000 homicides in this country, annually, and almost half of them are Blacks felled by Blacks, while Blacks are about 13 percent of the population.

The problem is not the Police.

It's becoming evident that there is a concerted effort on the part of Leftists to create havoc nationwide using the instances like Ferguson and Garner to weaken the fabric of our society by sowing the seeds of chaos.

My spidey sense is telling me Soros and his ilk are funding the organization of these demonstrations across the county and those who are planning them.

Its not spontaneous uprisings, there seems to be a network involved.

Remember that secret government Department of Homeland Security Assessment (IA-0257-09) that came to light a couple of years ago? It said disgruntled Vets, Right Wingers and the Tea Party people were the most likely candidates for civil unrest. I think it may have also said Religious groups too.

Around the time the "Assessment" was formulated, the Obamination Administration was dismantling a great number of the prudent investigative procedures the FBI put in place post 911 to effectively combat Islamic Terrorism. Calling Terrorism, Terrorism was the first casualty of the new guidelines.

Google IA-0257-09 and read the Assessment. It's not too many pages.

It seems what's going on is the Leftists with the help of people in this Administration (and a feckless GOP and Congress) are trying to incite a race war or civil chaos so that the Federal government can put the hammer down.

Then they will blame it on Conservative America.

You know...never let a crisis go to waste?

To those who say I'm speaking off the top of my tin-foil cap, I say:

"Workplace Violence"
"Cambridge Police acted stupidly"
"IRS Investigation of Conservative groups"
"FOX is not a News Service"
"Fast & Furious"
"The hubris of Gruber...Who's Gruber?"
"Shutting down open air public memorials while Nancy Pelosi meets with immigrant groups protesting in a public park"

I could go on....

On Mother's Day, May 13, 1990 25th District officer's Hauser & Kilroy were killed by Roman Chavez who was 24 years old. The officers had gone to his mother's home because of a disturbance with him in the garage. The two experienced officers did not know of his prior contacts with other officers both local and suburban. They did not know that he had a warrant for his arrest. While walking him out of the garage to escort him off the property, Chavez was able to grab the revolver from the holster of Hauser. He then shot and killed both officers. At trial he was found guilty but ineligible for the death penalty. He received two life sentences.
He killed not one but two officers and yet the jury could not see fit to sentence him to death. I guess that only your fellow officers understand and care about what we have to do each day. Law Enforcement is now the target of government officials who value the vote of these worthless individuals over our lives.
I am retired for many years but I still have a son on the job who I am very proud of. My advice to him and to all you fine officers is to no longer risk your lives and your careers for those that do not value your service. It may be difficult but from now on do no more then you have to do. Take only the calls assigned to you. Don't make street stops and don't chase anyone. Let the streets of Chicago fill with gangsters armed to the teeth and let them slaughter each other. Just pick up the pieces and go home safe.
God bless you for your service.

Former NBA pro Charles Barkley did an excellent interview regarding this issue. He made no excuses, didn't mince words and was frank with the journalist who asked for his opinion. He basically said that law enforcement sometimes profile suspects for wrong reasons, but also for the right ones. The easiest way to combat being profiled is to act responsibly and behave, then there's no reason to be the focus of police attention. He also acknowledged that those minority communities know who the criminals are, but aren't saying anything, so when police are called in to stop crime they have no alternative but to develop a profile to narrow their search. He called out the fact that everybody has a cell phone with cameras/video but no one uses it to help police. He agrees that the responsibility of falls on everyone, especially black men to change things. Best part of the interview was when he denounced the race baiters for their part in aggravating the whole situation, and questioned the image of innocence the media painted all over Brown in Ferguson. The coup de grace was when he admonished all these critics and activists who ridicule the actions of law enforcement in the aftermath of these incidents by saying "Monday morning quarterbacks are those people who don't have the balls to play on Sunday."

Lately, this is the case, that only WHITE POLICE OFFICERS shoot unarmed black men and that this is being done recklessly by WHITE ONLY officers, seems to me that officers of other colors are getting a free pass on this one, and yes I am White, and yes I have placed my hands about a personas neck while subduing them and yes, I have aimed my weapon at a whole lot of black, Hispanic and White people during the coarse of my job, but when things bad happen, the news will not add any other reasons while a person fighting with or in police custody died. Why ? because negative things about the police is great reporting, and the protestors and Revs, believe it all. Officers, just go to work, go to roll call, listen to your ball less watch commanders give you the pep talk about community needs and tickets and issues, but then go out, think of how you can do your job, go home safe and have a great day, I am a retired Sgt. who always took care of his men, worked in many units and had a great retirement party to top it off!! The argument here is about a police officer killing a lawbreaker, which is a tragedy for both. However, where are the people protesting the LAW that was at the root of this? You know, the LAW about selling loose cigarettes that was passed by a LEFTIST NY legislature so the state could capture all of the cigarette taxes. Had LEFTISTS not created the circumstances for the arrest in the first place, Garner would be alive and happily doing business on another NYC street corner. And the police officer would have time to track down rapists, killers and muggers.

"So why are you ignoring the fact that his death was ruled a homicide"
----12:22 poster

Homicide is a legal term that means that one person's death was caused by the actions of another person, whether directly or indirectly. Homicide does not mean Murder, although it can. I can also be Voluntary or Involuntary Manslaughter or Reckless or Negligent Homicide or Justified Homicide. That's up to the courts to decide following the presentation of EVIDENCE, which this Grand Jury heard and rendered their verdict.
Are you another one of those who received their law degrees from the mean streets, pushing the liberal narrative? Also, as far as the chokehold you are referring to, it is banned by the NYPD. If the NYPD wants to, they can reprimand the officer for its use but it is not against the law, therefore Criminal charges don't apply. I'm pretty sure none of this was covered in the Law 101 classes that MSNBC and the ilk were giving their brainwashed viewers, but do yourself a favor and educate yourself before coming into a conversation and sounding like a complete clown.....

It was a take down maneuver.
He weighed over 350 lbs. What was the preferred area to take him down from, the waist? Three of the coppers would have to join hands to encircle that massive girth.
Even the medical examiner did not call it a choke hold, nor indicate the cause of death a result of that area of 'take-down.'
Yup, the media instills their prejudicial buzz word description and all the lefties run with it as gospel.

When a coroner rules a death a homicide, the coroner is NOT finding someone guilty of a crime. A coroner's determination of 'homicide' simply means death at the hands of another.

"A "loosie" seller "choked" to death, completely leaving out the active resistance of a lawful, appropriate arrest. There will be plenty more cases created by the agenda driven media."
-------------------

So why are you ignoring the fact that his death was ruled a homicide and that the officer didn't use proper protocol to subdue a resisting suspect?

12/05/2014 12:22:00 AM

"choked to death" the same mistake the leftist media is making. What did the autopsy list as cause of death? Was it in fact choking of the medical description thereof?

My guess is positional asphyxia was a contributing factor, his own big disgusting fat body. Followed by heart attack. Caused by resisting arrest. Tub of shit caused his own death.

I didn't take this job to get lavished with hero praise... but lately I feel like the whole country thinks we are racist murdering assholes. It kind of wears on you. Every news channel all day running stories about the violent out of control police. Why do I even come to work and do my job? I don't know anymore.

12/05/2014 04:08:00 AM

We do it because most people are NOT headline-mongering police-haters, just like most police are not racist or violent.
Don't let a few jerks affect your sense of self-worth.

Retired here; This has always been a totally thankless jo. But....I know that I personally saved six peoples lives, in different incidents and never received so much as department commendation, let alone a life saving award for any of them.

My point... not many other professions let you or expect you to do such things but having done them is reward enough. Personal reward that these protesting bozo's will never have the pride or satifaction of being able to share with me.

I know that "I" made a difference.

we end up dealing with them and their idiot communist allies like Phather Phaker telling them to disrupt traffic. Why this scumbag is still a priest in the Catholic church is amazing, but then again the Catholic church seems to have taken on a socialist stance of late

this is exactly why I will not be sending my kids to a Catholic School anymore in Chicago. This is a disgrace. I'm a Catholic, my family is also, I went to Catholic school my whole life and wanted the same for my kids but it has become about money #1, religion #2. $10,500 a year! GTFO.

Are we a nation of laws or does lynch mob rule what people want. Whenever a group disagrees with a jury out come then do they want to revert to a lynching.
It would seem that is what the reverend's and media really want. It is a sad day for our country when even or president is anti police

You come back to work because, believe it or not, for every 1 loudmouth jagoff hater out there there are at least 100 of us that appreciate and are thankful that you do show up.

12/05/2014 09:44:00 AM

Well then GOD___IT!
You and yours should have been speaking UP for The Police for the last 25 years since the progressives in politics and the media started this "The Police are what's wrong" bullshit!

It's too fucking late now!
They've walked us backwards to the point where we're ineffective and Policing solely for our own survival and they've gamed every avenue of being able to set a course of correction from the subversive and culturally corrosive anti-Police agenda they're pushing.

When we're made to go away and the progressive wet dream of profit driven/revenue extracting Policing as a function of government becomes a reality, you and all the others who sat on their hands and paid lip service to supporting The Police will have ample time to be sad, sick and sorry about how your inaction put us ALL in danger.

YOU AND OTHERS LIKE YOU STOOD BY AND LET THIS HAPPEN!

Policemen have been sounding the warning for years only to be dismissed and written off as reactionary tinfoil hat wearers who are pissed because it isn't 1960 anymore.

So now that all kinds of shit is writ large on the walls, people are realizing that the very ideal of Policing is being destroyed right before their eyes?

Heh...
Irony and Hypocrisy both crossed the median and hit each other head-on.

Will there be any survivors?

The Police have been cast as your enemy.

You should be very concerned about who you're
going to be forced to take as your friends once
The Police are made to go away.

Joyful Hater says:
"Shut up cop! You guys think too highly of yourselves so stop playing the martyr, get off the cross and get to work! Your supervisors must not work you hard enough if you have enough time to vent on a blog..."

...Or something like that.
Right?

So now what?

12/05/2014 12:36:00 AM

This is a hilarious folk(or peoples) irony story for the future. But from also being there, I think you're lying. I'm not calling you a liar(if that even makes sense)to characterize you, I just believe you are in this instance.

This death should be on the emts and paramedics. Garner did resist and although the chokehold is illegal by NYPD protocol, a taser or pepper spray likely would have resulted in the same results. Garner's health problems were excasterbated by the physical stress causing an asthma attack and eventual cardiac arrest. This is a fluke, the cop certainly did not expect all this to happen, he has already been reprimanded by the NYPD. The real problem was the emt's who did nothing for a man in respiratory distress, if Garner still had a pulse when they arrived they should have bag valved him and given him oxygen. Instead they half passed put him on the gurney with his handcuffs still on. That patient care was truly pathetic.

While the pols are having local gov retrain the police to interact in a more compassionate manner with citizens, our schools can teach little Johnny and Mary in grades K thru 12 to 'Don't do the crime' and 'Don't resist arrest'. Now that is the community and law enforcement working together.

"This protest was an utter disaster. This place is an embarrassment."

Because it was a "justifiable homicide" troll

No, it was not a "Justifiable". It was an accidental death. The POs did not intend to kill the offender to protect their or some other persons life. It was simply unfortunate that his health issues coupled with the force required to subdue him resulted in his death. An accident.

As a paramedic, i couldnt agree more. Garner probably suffered from excited delirium after the chokehold and suffered an asthma attack and later cardiac arrest. People in respiratory distress can talk, but it will make their distress greater. Those paramedics disgraced the profession. Two out of the four were fired.

And the Democommunists will never allow voter identification to prevent fraud.

The leftist media in this country is despicable and most decent people have tuned them out a long time ago. They are out of control, not law enforcement. There are communities here in Chicago that are appreciative of the police. I'm grateful when I see the police patrolling in my neighborhood. I mind my own business when I see you conducting stops and doing your job. There is a reason why FOX news network has the highest ratings, they aren't on the bandwagon bashing the police. Most of the people that I know are sick of hearing the anti-police bullshit. We were raised in the city and have seen once great neighborhoods turn to crap. We know what the problems are, and it isn't the police.
