Doesn't the Jesse Jackson family own the Bud distributor in Chicago? In the photo it appears the traffic lane is open. I would have let Jesse get the truck unstuck. It would have been the first work he'd have done in over fifty years...maybe longer. Piss beer anyway.
We never see beer trucks stuck in snow up here in Wisconsin SCC. As a matter of fact we never see anyone stuck in snow. That's probably because we employ people who are qualified to do their jobs, not political hacks. My street was cleared of snow by the county the same day it began snowing. No parked cars buried in snow by the plow driver, no huge ruts in the snow, no impacted snow guaranteeing cars sliding across intersections. Yesterday the MSM was indicating that we may get another inch or so. I saw the plow truck an hour later driving down my street spreading salt. In Chicago they would have waited three days.
Dont know if you guys know this but they are not pushing it out of the snow. They are bowing down and worshiping the truck that has answered its prayers in times of despair and magically appeared.

You mean the worst run Budweiser Distributor in the USA? Sold for a pittance.
The ubiquitous side street corner store? "...and these are stayed neither by snow nor rain nor heat nor darkness from accomplishing their appointed course with all speed..." Had it been the first of the month, it may have been a post office truck.
They do tax your pension but there is a way around that. If you do come up here look in the western edge of Kenosha County or Walworth County. That is if you want to stay close to Chicago. And as far as taxing your pdnsion, if you can't figure a way around it and have to pay it its worth it. Go to the Wisconsin website for a better explanation.
Speaking of important things, the city now requires us to shovel the city's sidewalks or be fined. News flash, Chicago: by doing so, you now inherit all civil liability ( read: $$$$$) for any injuries sustained on YOUR sidewalks due to homeowners and business owners who shoveled the sidewalks to comply with YOUR law. This includes me injuring myself if I slip and fall doing your work for you, on YOUR now slippery sidewalk. I wonder how long it will take residents here to realize the potential goldmine and ghetto lottery payouts just waiting to happen!
Was just at a pub in Phoenix having lunch and these girls were serving sample of Bud Light. I had to show them this blog page with the photo telling them about the two feet of snow I left behind in Chicago.
It would have been great pick-line. If I was 25-30 years younger.

"I don't want to have to write you up but..."
Another yes man for West. I recognIze the work.
Maybe if the 200 illegal Mexicans packed in the back of the truck, on the way to get their state ID'S, they could help push it out

That's Captain Ruthie and her crew. They had to find something to do until Billy Joel comes back to Wrigley Field.
Looks like a "Beertruck-jacking" in Englewood to me
