St. Patrick's Day and TBOX are the worst two days on Clark St, and no one does a thing about them. The problem is getting worse. You think Eli would have had a handle on it this time, considering this is his 3rd St. Pat's Day there, but he was again unprepared.

Hard to blame Eli, with the lack of police hiring, what are we down 3-4,000 officers? how "top heavy" are we? so many gold stars passed out, bosses retiring coming back fro a second helping of easy boss cash, we need street coppers! plenty of chiefs but way to few indians!

3,000 to 4,000 officers down. Check the Pension Fund, CLEAR and FOP and you will find out you are not even close. There are alittle over 12,000 sworn personnel

Two of my friends, one who retired a year ago and one who retired TWO years ago, are still listed as active Dept members, still assigned to units on the computer.
