You are correct SCC, it will always be Comisky Park, just like it'll always be the Rosemont Horizon and The Sears Tower.

I wonder if Theo would appreciate Chicago's First Responders? I guess not. You can bet he will keep Bryant in the minors to start the year also, just to have 1 more year of control before free agency. Will be funny if the Cubs miss the playoffs by a game or 2.

Oh No!
What's that Admin Mgr. going to do?
Last several years she's begged co-workers at the Academy for their tickets so she could party all summer.
Well, now that she's been dumped to R&D, get ready folks for her to start asking you for your tickets.
She most certainly is not shameless.

Ok this sounds like a good idea. But if you are retired and live about two hours south of Chicago, how do I get tickets to see my beloved South Siders? Might even bring the wife.

Is the Cell a gun free zone for off-duty/retired coppers? Can someone verify?

I hope they're not charging more then $5 because that's what tickets were going for on Stub Hub last year.

Speaking of that time of year...

Streets and Sans website for street cleaning only had 2 months listed as of 2pm yesterday.

Watch out ! No 15 minute grace period for the 1st and 2nd of April this year is the current rumor out of the 5th floor of Shitty Hall.

I can't believe someone is bitching about not getting free Sox tickets when the yankees are in town. Someone offers you something for free and you have the nerve to complain! I bet you wear your uniform on your day off to all your favorite restaurants you cheap piece of shit!

Its not the Soxs doing. Its a MLB rule. Texas actually passed a law saying that lawful firearm owners can bring their guns into MLB and NFL games in their state.

Cubs would NEVER do this! That's the difference between an organization that appreciates their fanbase as opposed to an organization that appreciates tourist's money. Whitesox will be a contender in the playoffs, Cubs will finish in 3rd place in their division, & Lester will hit the DL w/ Deadarm!

The sox need to do SOMETHING to get people in the park. God knows they can't sell tickets.

Still, a very nice gesture.

The sox were 28th out of 30 in attendance last year. The only way that they can get butts in the seats is via giveaways. Dog night. Elvis night. 70's night. Half price sundays. If sox fans spent some time at the games and less time worrying about the Cubs, maybe that would change.

But this is a much appreciated gesture.

I'll be the Grinch. Night games in cold weather in a stadium that is on average only half filled on most days.

How much are beers? Last time I went to a game they were in the seven/eight buck range and the food is all sub-par and expensive as well. Oh, and unless you know the ins and outs of parking for free near the stadium, there is also that expense.

Toss in parking, food and drink coupons and then the Sox would truly be showing their appreciation. Otherwise, just a marketing ploy.

Thanks, nice try, but I'll watch the game, mabe, at home.

POLICE and FIRE can get in free to any game they want at Wrigley, unless the game is sold out. Just have to show badge and sign in.

Cubs allow you to "badge" your way into any game. Sox give you tickets to select games.....my tickets were 3 rows from top of stadium. Both gestures are appreciated and both organizations are pro-police. Go Cubs!
