You guys must really hate 10 hour days. Way to be direct.
That's ridiculous cuz if you look at the unit summary in the 1st district on midnights you can see all of the down cars and the ones that are up are mostly 99 units. It's obvious that they need people there and yet there aren't any openings. Call the union people. Refuse to work 99, it's unsafe.
Maybe after Tuesday there will be an opening for superintendent.

It would be nice if they allowed for a percentage of openings in districts that were gonna be getting new ppo's, to allow for movement by regular p.o's prior to the ppo's getting assigned to the districts ! Lord knows how i would like the chance to get to a district closer to home and save myself $150 a month on gas ! (not even asking to go to a slow district, just one closer to home !)

A bunch of green supervisors and coppers who haven't done any policing on the west or south sides for any extended period of time.
The few who have, there's a noticeable difference in how they handle themselves and interact with fellow officers.
Are there still pampered pets who don't get their turn 10-99 on the Uptown car because they're "special?"

They still should be sent to districts and work the streets answering calls like so many ppos before them did.
I talked to some officers from 005. They hate the fucking 10 hour schedule. I used to work a 10 hour schedule. Trust me, it sucks. You will have no room or time to do anything on your work days. Then on your off days you will have an avalanche of chores, tasks and appointments to do. For example, right now with my 8.5 hour day work schedule, I was able to take my mom to the dentist and get an oil change. Tomorrow I will clean up my house. Then the next day do another house project. Now with a 10 hour day, I could not do any of that.

I agree. It always seems to be the north siders that suffer too. Sending Edison Park guys to 003, 004 and sometimes 006. There's no room in 010, 011, 015 or 025? Oh well...
