From where I see it...
Rahm has always been a "dirt digger". For all you guys expecting any UNION elected officials to represent you forget it. It basically doesn't matter who enters that political arena because as soon as they meet Rahm informs them of " what he knows or learned and what he can expose on them". That has been his job over the many years of Rahms political hardball games. Wake up. No one is trying to se anyone out but guess who controls the media in Chicago.
Reasonably speaking anyone publicly speaking against the "mad suburbanite that runs the big city because he went to wrigley and saw a bucket boy so now he is the City " will have their backgrounds exposed and credibility attacked. That us Rahmd game. He surrounded himself around others that are like him and work hard to get the "scoop" on the character and history on anyone that does not carry his water.
To prove or show Rahm or Mcarthy or anyone in these positions in and around CPD or this city or county or state may be futile unless these people really "stub their toes " so bad that their controlled news people and political tied supporters "bail" in their coordinated endeavors. Rahm is a big baby and also will exhaust all law department resources to fight the middle class and the old neighborhood connected folks to expose their discredit while acting like he had no hand in the process of the exposure.
He is ruining lives and families that did the work for years as the backbone of this city by making all if us "worry and sweat out" a pension we were promised. People/ city workers are looked upon by him as the "scammers and abusers of theTIT that we feed upon and hope to suck that we worked hard to get too....he wants to control mothers TIT"
It's easier for the big city to fight us and break unions forcing money to be spent within unions or them to turn over on their members causing dissension amongst the troops. Breaking morale of members by exposing through the media bullshit instances or mistakes that could be handled in house but now is public matter.
Rumor had it thoughts of Un incorporating parts of "ghetto" in the city like Roseland maybe englewood Austin etc. transfer "stats to county and hire more county police ( cheaper) and paid by county since their Revenue inspectors are successful. Would help city matters immensely. Kill homicide stats, pay for more county jobs, pension issues. The county inspectors will be inspecting tobacco gambling liquor etc.
The county would just need to have more teeth when collecting fines if so it would make Rahm and Toni look like geniuses.

Congratulations on your 10th birthday. Not a Leo and I have only been following your blog for about six months but I find this a better source of Chicago crime and politics (yea..I know..that's redundant) than any of the TV or print media.

Why is Daley not in prison for life? Why was his son and nephew allowed to take over 60 million from our pension fund for real estate scream and lost it all? Who pray tell at the pension board gave away "our money!" Will the man in the mirror man up? Come over here the guys on Dearborn with the straight ties wanna see you soon fat man! (OT ) gotta like fox Chicago news they just reported. " this weekend was last violent than last only 4 people killed" nothing about God influencing the weather! But they did show the savage that killed the white kid who actually fought to get his cell phone back! The savage was not a concealed carry licensed holder! A life snuffed out murdered in the killing fields! Great job CPD capturing the animal that did this!
