He's Baaaaaaack

Still at it after all these years - and now he found a partner to assist in his delusions:
  • A Chicago man who has been in trouble before for posing as a police officer is accused of doing it again.

And this time, police say, he had backup.

Vincent Richardson, 21, was arrested about 12:25 p.m. Friday and charged with impersonating a police officer, according to Chicago Police.

According to police, officers were responding to a call of shots fired in the 1200 block of West Marquette when they spotted a man driving a Dodge Durango and wearing a bulletproof vest, police said.

They arrested Vincent Richardson for failing to produce police credentials, police said. A passenger, 21-year-old Dantrell Moore, also was wearing a bulletproof vest and was arrested.

Both men had BB guns, and a non-police radio was also found in the SUV, police said.
Both with bullet-proof vests and BB guns. Next step at some point is probably a real gun.

Hey Garry, we're short as hell. Maybe you could hire this idiot under some sort of "part timer" like the burbs do

Tell me again, with all the national hate cops going on, with cops being ambushed and killed, why would anyone in their right mind want to impersonate a cop? There are some weird dudes out on the streets.

Great idea to hire him as a part timer for the CPD.
Last time this guy was arrested as a kid in 003, he had more activity in the few hours he pretended to be a cop than just about every real cop who worked 3rd watch that day there.

Hahah they finally caught that idiot. For weeks on zone 10 this moron was coming over as 2435C saying he was part of Area 2 Narcotics and Gangs. Tried to run a plate at 19th/Morgan. Dispatch knew better. Glad they finally tracked him down. What an idiot. Haha.

My only question on this is what's the big deal about the moron having a BP Vest?

I own one and I'm not a cop. Several of my co-workers own them and wear them while on duty.

And, he comes up with a story that another district just sent him over to help out? Who ever heard of that? I wonder who the captain, now retired was?

I researched the financial activities of the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. Charity Navigator is a non profit group/website that analyzes the financial tax returns of non profit charities and organizations. They give a percentage score of how efficiently a charity is run, what percentage of donations are distributed and the expense to charity ratio, etc...

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is NOT RATED. What do they have to hide? This charity was started by Ed Burke and Phil Cline. Enough said.

Correct me if I'm wrong, so far he hadn't robbed anyone during his role playings or gave us any fight. Seems he would be a candidate for someone in this City to mentor and straighten this kid out. He might be that one someone from the hood that can actually be rehabilitated. Running around with a BB gun playing police won't eventually end pleasantly.
Now he becomes the example of what's wrong with Chicago and Cook Co. judicial system.
Where's all the bleeding hearts saying "he needs a job, he needs a chance", where's the politicians with there "help the kids" palaver. (elections over)

OT -- Huge conflict-of-interest stink arising in Freddie Gray case in Baltimore --

* Freddie Gray's fambly lawyer donated $5,000 to prosecutor Marilyn Mosby's campaign. (She's been on the job...four months?)

* Mosby is married to the Baltimore City Council member who defended the rioters in a television interview.

* the lead prosecutor in Mosby's office, the official who led the investigation in the Freddie Gray case, is veteran attorney Janice Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is in a relationship with WBAL investigative reporter Jayne Miller, one of Baltimore's most experienced and well sourced TV journalists.

The Baltimore FOP is calling for Mosby to recuse hereself from this case.

It's called a badge. The styles vary from star to shield, but either way it's a badge. If it was stolen, the LEADS entry wouldn't say a "star" was stolen. It would say a badge. You can call it either one and people would know what you meant, but in no circumstance would it be capitalized unless it's the first word in a sentence. It is not a proper name or place.

There, how does it feel to be corrected over petty nonsense? You're what's wrong with this department. A know it all who knows nothing. What a handjob.

And yes, unless the assignment specifies that it's ok not to, everyone should wear their badge. Or star. Whichever you understand.

I agree on different styles as you call it-but in this case, it would be described as a 5-pointed Star.
And I capitalize it out of the respect it deserves.

Is a BB gun considered a dangerous weapon based on ILCS? or is it only considered a dangerous weapon based on MMC?

ILCS charge will be dropped. False personation will be dropped. Who ever approved false personation is an idiot. I've done plenty false personation arrests, both CPD and the burbs. Very specific actions need to occur in order to be considered False Personation.

Not bike guy.
