Promote two guys who have not been in patrol in a while. Both have 5 months a a capt.
One hasn't been in patrol since 2009 and the other hasn't been in patrol since 2012.

I've been telling you for a week now that McStreetlights is out! The command restructuring is in preparation for this shake-up. Wysinger is going to be the interim superintendent. Mark my words.
Here's a CPD/ISP command gem. A few weeks back I helped a buddy move his kid out of Bradley University in Peoria. We met up with a Peoria ISP troop for a bite to eat. Not a happy place, ISP-wise around Peoria. And with good reason.
Back in April a female troop lost her husband, 40 something local copper, to an accident on the home they were building further downstate. It was in a remote area, so he wasn't found until the next day.
The ISP Peoria Commander, Captain Welch, notified her about his death OVER THE FUCKING PHONE!!! Which is also an ISP policy violation. FOP insisted an apology was in order. Hell, we do in-person notifications for total strangers, as a means of courtesy and respect. 30 year ISP Captain Welch can't figure out how to find one of his own troops for a death notification? Really? Especially since each troop has a list of contacts at the sergeants desk for this purpose.
Well the beef went to the FOP Springfield, and the President brought this up in a meeting with Leo. Leo said he would call her personally. Yep. No call ever made. Welch has since retired (great loss there).
How fucking hard is it to call a widow and say, "I'm so sorry about the way this was handled." Still a very raw nerve with Peoria ISP troops.

Why the F* do you 001 Cops who probably have known about this for months now...bend over for the State Vehicles that park illegally ALL DAY on Lake and Clark? Send the ISP command structure a frigging message via Orange Parkers.
What can CPD command do to you? City Policy requires all vehicles, regardless of vehicle type, to park legally unless they are on a Call. The ISP vehicles are not on calls. They are Parked because their drivers work in an Office inside.
Write the parkers on County and State...Send the message we don't approve of them.

017 getting a great guy as their new Commander. Nice guy and very approachable. Maybe a little too nice. Has a hard time saying NO to anyone. Not a bad thing, but as usual will probably have people taking advantage. Either way you guys are in good shape with Eli.

To 0937pm: I agree with your take on some of Godsels staff but there are a few good people up there. Things were ok up there with his original sect.....the one who was promoted. But once these two got the power it went bad. There are a couple very nice people up there to be fair.
Having worked for voulgaris for a few years, 017 will eventually see through him. For whatever reason, he likes and gives most of his special cars to the non-aggressive, little experience types that wont get into any situations and the real worker continues to pull their weight. Typical scenario, but holds very true with vulgaris.
I agree with the Godsel comment, nice guy but way too many suckass women in his office who thought they ran the show. Not one of them ever did any work.

Crime is out of control in 9. Need a commander who will take control and shut this shit down especially the gangs and drugs.
It's good they got Eli out of 019 before the Hawk's win the Cup. Wrigleyville was totally up for grabs the last two times they won it and it's a miracle that no one was seriously hurt or worse. Eli is the world's nicest guy but I don't think he could handle the pressure of a night like we expect it to be. I don't know what Cesario is made of but we'll find out if the Hawks win tonight.

Didn't Panepinto get dumped from the DOC as a lieutenant after he cursed out the 1st Deputies secretary. I hope that he learned his lesson and will start respecting women.

The order states no contact between the merit board and potential nominees. The Supt already in court by Cleve the great who not only lied but is now in Corporation Counsel. Integrity at its best. Eddie Johnson will be interviewed by Feds shortly. Certain potential nominees running their mouths before applications are submitted.

If you think that the Merit process is legit than you need to wake up and smell the coffee. If a commander wanted to narrow down candidate quickly then ask for resume and activity for the year. Putting a 72 hour deadline on resumes submission is crap also but hey, this process is Legit. Yeah right!!
