Another Highway Shooting
- Three people were wounded when a car pulled alongside their vehicle on the Dan Ryan Expressway and someone opened fire early Friday on the South Side, police said.
“We were on the expressway, and a car pulled up and just let off like 10 shots,” one of the victims said after being treated at Saint Bernard Hospital.
"I just got grazed in the head," he said, asking not to be identified. "I’m fine though, I’m good. I just got a headache.”
Just a headache, while thousands of other people were late for work, late getting home, missed appointments with bar stools, etc. Thank goodness that CompStat can hide these shootings by pretending that since the Illinois State Police investigate, they didn't happen in Chicago.

So it is no longer even safe to drive through Chicago?
I just used to be concerned about what happens if I used the wrong exit, now they bring the violence to the expressway.
It's time we start banning cars from the nation's roadways to reduce these shooting incidents.
20 Expressway shootings since Jan 1, 2015. This according to Fox 32 news.
Just one of those was road rage. The rest were ALL gang related.

The highways are the problem of the State Police.
Not too many highway shootings get solved anyways. No cameras. No witnesses. . . . Maybe that is the cue for the thugs. . . . .

I like that, "Mad Max" thing....
I don't understand why ISP shuts down the highway to look for evidence... If the jagoff doing the shooting have the gun close inside the vehicle, the shell casing is going in the vehicle (assuming the off-chance that they don't use a revolver).
If they're shooting with the weapon outside the vehicle, then the brass is hitting the roadway and getting run over by other vehicles right?
So what evidence will be recoverable from the shell casings after being run over by a bunch of cars and trucks on the highway?
Take a report, move on. Forget this nonsense of shutting down the highway. Try to figure out a license plate from a blurry camera or two, find the jagoffs, and deal with them then...

I just gots grazed what a clown guess maybe next time like that rapper that rapped twice how they tried to kill him but missed the 3rd time was the charm HBD=he be dead!
They should assign vri cars to the highways that will solve the problem. Have them do contact cards and go down on foot patrol event# it's really working for the districts. Dum fucks
Open fire can happen everywhere at anytime. CC is not allowed in public places like fe restaurants, bussinesses etc lol criminals certainly will obey it too...We should be allowed to defend ourselves everywhere like we might get shot everywhere. I don't seriously give a flying monkey what everybody thinks.
I wonder if some of the characters doing these are spending an awful lot of time on the xway looking for people? Drive a distance, get off, loop back, get on again...
Maybe figure out the stretch where this has happened the most and put LPRs on the ramps? Same veh. goes through there ten times in a couple hours, well...
Crazy, but...it keeps happening.
