Can't Blame You Lady
Judging by the coverage on all the major channels and both papers, there's a boatload of faux-outrage over this:
- Chicago Bears fans aren’t always happy with quarterback Jay Cutler, and apparently, the Cutlers aren’t happy with Chicago.
Cutler's wife, Kristin Cavallari, said in an interview with Elle Magazine that the couple hopes to move to the Nashville area when Cutler’s six-year contract ends because “Chicago’s just not home.”
Well let's see - just about every Bear player came from out of town, the owners aren't known for staying in the city much, the sportswriters are pretty much suburbanites from elsewhere, a sizable percentage of the season ticket holders are from the northern or western burbs. Plus, Jay has been a pretty inadequate quarterback by any measure. We'd leave town, too if we could.

Good riddance, lady! And take your second-string quarterback with you.
It's pretty sad when a fashion magazine breaks the story that a team's quarterback doesn't intend to renew his contract.
SCC: " We'd leave town, too if we could."
No shit. She should be applauded for taking the initiative to move out of this God forsaken city. Who in their right mind would be here if they didn't have to be? The Bears look to really suck this year so she might get her wish sooner then later.
Do you really blame them for wanting to get out of Chiraq? I think he sucks as a QB but I don't blame them for wanting to get the hell out of the most corrupt, gang infested, crime ridden, liberal city in America! Good riddance when they do leave, just wish I could join em!
Now BEAR DOWN!
So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye....
Despite what SCC says, Da Bears show great promise of becoming an NFL powerhouse this year, and putting Chicago on the football map. Locomotives are often slow starting up, but once they get moving they are unstoppable.
Well it's not going to feel like home when the fans turn on you. He's from Indiana, move home
I love Nashville! I wish I could move to Nashville or Franklin, TN tomorrow.
Why the hell would you live in the city unless you're in your early 20s or being a forced city worker. All of the bears live and practice around lake forest, 30 miles north. Even George Halas had better sense to build his headquarters in lake county. The bears even stay at a hotel the night before "home games". I'd much rather live and raise children in Barrington or Nashville too.
Thug ball in the National Felon League, who cares?
She's from Barrington. What do you expect?
Jay has nobody to throw the ball to, or any protection in the pocket. Hell, Joe Namath wouldn't make it here either.
Jay Cutler Says:
"Whatever"
Da Bears and their quarterback rule !!!
Do we really care?
Please stay Jay I hate the bears and I know the team will never be better than 8-8 with you as the sucky qb
Why wait, leave h take your bitch husband with you! Send someone who knows the goal of the game is TD's not Int's!
Can anyone speed up their move please???

What you smoking?
8-8, no playoffs.
I have 20+ years on. Can I go with you to Nashville? I'll pull the plug tomorrow!
Last I saw they were living in a mansion in Winnetka paying 10,000 a month rent. Has this changed? They are not exactly living in the inner city! If she had a brain in her head, she would keep that to herself. Jay has enough Chicagoans unhappy with him. Now it seems like they're slamming the city while making all their money here.
I left Chicago the day I retired...Best move I ever made

Thanks, that was funny. As of 6/1 the Bears are listed at 55-1 to win the Super Bowl in Vegas. Only 24 teams will better odds. No problem.
Cant blame her. We are illegally forced to live in this city so we have no choice.
10-4
Let's help them. He might be worth a draft pick or two to the Titans
Cool trade his ass to the Titans
They can afford to commute
is there actually anyone from Chicago that is a famous name? Hell, even Al Capone was from New York. Ditka is from Pennsylvania, Micheal Jordan is from NC, Even Oprah isn't from here. Who cares. Jay's just another guy from somewhere else who makes his living in Chicago.
Oh Jay, please stay! Don't go anywhere, the Bears need you and we love you.

Toews, Kane, Keith and all the other Hawks' significant others don't seem to mind it here.

Who are you? Some Sports guy from the SCORE?
Blow it out yer Ass. A Locomotive needs someone alert at the Engineer's position, not someone sleeping in the Caboose.
With all the real issues going on in Chicago, who cares about Cutler?

Cutlers numbers are right in line with future HOFer Bret Favre..Next time get some facts before you stick your foot in your mouth
Maybe we can trade franchises with Nashville or Maybe we can get the Patriots to play in Soldier Field. Da Bears stink up the place.
Cutlers numbers are in line with Favre's? LMFAO! Even if that were true, there is no way in the world you can compare Cutler to Favre. One is/was a top notch QB while cutler shouldn't even be sitting in as a third stringer.
Never understood why some people act like everyone is supposed to love this city. Grow the fuck up!
Outside of maybe 4 months a year, just what the fuck is there to love about Chicago?
It's cold. The majority of it is crime-ridden. Taxes are the highest in the country.
Born & raised here. Probably die here. But I'm not blind to the realities of this city...like some of you provincial assclowns.

Bob Newhart grew up on the 5900 block of Ohio and Larry Manetti (Black Sheep Squadron, Magnum P.I.) is from California and Chicago. That about exhausts it.

Dick Butkus is from here. So is Donovan McNabb, Antoine Walker, Tim Grunhard to name a few.
Chris Chelios is from here.
