123 PAR forms submitted in 005 so far.
009 needs some openings we are depleted especially on 3rd watch. Days has people with 3yrs on job put them on mids or 3rd watch.
Please former tac superstars from 007. 012 needs you please go there and show them how it's done. Par forms will be at the desk waiting for you.

005 has 246 officers struggling on the 10 hour day....why is there no openings there? 002 has openings wtf! its a dead district with high seniority...SCC please look at the numbers...if 005 is a panacea for scheduling in the future why is there no openings there?
Retirements, dicks and sgts have depleted the ranks of 017 some more. Maybe these new special people that have appeared somehow are all we're getting? Can't even man a late rapid in 017 if one of the two po's that are assigned are off. Of course, they're already working a late car most days. And the diet continues. Maybe 140 is the desired number now...

I hear that over a hundred fifty Par forms have already been submitted from the 003rd District, that's nearly half of the District. EVERYONE is tired of all the shit, micromanaging, backstabbing upper management! Not everyone but some of us are outta her biotches!!!!! Average age on Tact is under 3 years otj. Good Luck with that! Most of them don't know shit other than wearing fashion jeans and baseball caps and sporting their new tattoos! Also, wait till the Sgts bids open up. I'm hearing that nearly ALL of them will be bidding out and the older ones are all putting their papers in. Oh my? who will run the district? Oh I know the Commander and XO!

When this incident occurred, special privileges were requested by the officer and the Sgt should have stuck a CR number up his ass.
Now there's a CR number on the officers and the sergeant plus the officers were dumped from tact because it was a police officers family member. How could something like this be allowed and during that month alone over 8 vehicles were impounded By other officers and drivers were arrested for having as little as a bag of weed in the car.
So please tell me, do police officers family members get special privileges and do not fall under the same scrutiny of the law and Chicago police department general orders as a normal citizen?
If that's the case, then we have a bigger problem in this city and this is a form of retaliatory punishment and corruption.
Ever wonder why the public don't trust us cause we're so fucked up within. I hope these officers file a lawsuit against the department.

Im bidding to 16 and then bidding on days and go shopping every day and then go home for lunch.
How can 016 only have 6 openings when they aren't even half staffed? They're down about 120 people.

He is a legend in his own mind, talks constantly, over thinks everything, berates P.O.s, thinks he is god, thinks he is the best sgt in the world. You don't quite seem to understand how openings work. Hopefully when you get enough time on the job to bid out of 005 you can figure it out.

The line to get the PAR forms signed in 003 looked like the currency exchanges on the 3rd of the month! Out the door! The line was so long that people walking into the station thought they were giving out free shit! I'm hearing the Commander had an attitude and didn't speak to one person and was throwing the signed forms across the desk.
Also, just heard the last of the older Tact guys just put there PAR forms to leave too.
On top of that a few Sgt's were talking the other day and apparently they are all leaving in the next period or two.
MASS EXODUS! WTF? Doesn't the Superintendent or Mayor give a shit? I guess not.
Not real familiar with how assignments and districts work in the CPD since I'm not one. But for Christ's sake can we get some ass-kickers in 16 to help with the bullshit that is going on in the home-turf.
Can I go to any of these districts and become the Compstat or CPIC officer?
The CPIC officer in my district is like a ghost payroller. He works maybe 4 hours a day and is given every opportunity for copious OT.

Management may be part of the problem in the third district but the bigger problem is the mentality of the police officers who work there.

You got a great chance getting it. They just got 2 PPO just off the foot patrol last period. On the par foam state that you did more on foot patrol then guys with 10 yoj have done in a car in your district or 018. Attach your resume and if you got any special awards while in the training division.
Make certain that your boss hand carries it to the cmdr. I think you might make Tac in 018 after learning the streets there.
Remember the FOP gets a copy so you are protected.

You, sir, are on the right page. The midnight crew in 016 is, well...let's just say, it's very odd and different. It is very hard to get t/d. They just don't have a lot of people and it's a big district. The midnight Lt. (Not sure if his first name starts with a "T", but last name starts w/ an "E") is a major tool. So is his smarmy midget desk sgt. Two total strokes. The p.o.'s on the desk are nice. Some strange people on the watch. The biggest problem, though, is the Lt and Sgt. If you can get afternoons, and can put up with a few months on midnights, it would only be for 3 months.
Afternoons crew is much better, top to bottom. Good luck.

Whoever the lucky officers are that make the two openings 018 should have no delusions about getting a spot like the two officers sitting outside the Starbucks at Clyborn and Division all night. Those are spots created for those idiots who started in 018 and have been in 018 their whole careers.
016 midnights has some antisocial coppers, and an asshat Sgt. Beware also the short female that likes getting numbers on other officers.
016 District midnight sgts and the Lt are the biggest goofs. God help you if you land on midnights. The sgts who all came from 011 think they are hot shit bunch of strokes. LMFAO
