Uber Drive By
Didn't see this one in the media:
- Hey SCC,
West side drive by the other night - no hits, but the funny part is the driver, who happened to be working for Uber, came into the District desk to report the fare he picked up directed him to a certain side street where he rolled down the window and started blazing away at the dope boys before ditching the Uber driver to face the return fire alone.
We're betting 015, 025 or 011. Anyone know about this?

Ha! Ha!
They don't talk about THAT kind of shit on those radio commercials that are trying to recruit people to drive for Uber.
Mannish boy jus' be funnin' an' shit...
>Pop-Pop-Poppity-Pop-Pop-Ka-Pop!<
Doin' what they gotta do...
By any means necessary.
Remember...
The Police are the problem
regardless of whatever else
is happening.
New tactics, that just might work.

When they arrest this guy, will they charge him with theft of services too?
If so, you have a phone # and Credit Card #. Should be easy to scoop up the fool.
Hey, maybe Uber could add a checkbox on their website that shows up for Chicago and maybe Detroit destinations to select whether this is where you want to disembark or do a drive-by. They could even offer spare magazines in the caliber of choice!
Don't you need a credit card to use Uber? Are the Lyft people upset that I bet has cornered the drive-by market?

Quick! Everyone "feel" safe!
"Uber Firearms Prohibition Policy
"We seek to ensure that everyone using the Uber digital platform—both driver-partners and riders—feels safe and comfortable using the service. During a ride arranged through the Uber platform, Uber and its affiliates therefore prohibit possessing firearms of any kind in a vehicle. Any rider or driver found to have violated this prohibition may lose access to the Uber platform."
hey, the OO'berdriver gots paid with a tip didn't he?
I'm not going to assume he was paid with a stolen credit card or where the fare was picked up.
Did you know there are 4 different types of Uber services?
Uber, Uber SUV, uberX, and Uber Black.
Even Rahm got a little somethin'-somethin' of that ride share action.
Why is Dean so quiet? He packed the last flop meeting with retirees and in return he cut a deal to screw active officers and replace them with retirees. Fop is officially a retiree's boys club.
011 district! Where else?!?
Oh my God this is funny. It beats the CTA bus drive by all to hell. Now all we need is a Divy drive by to keep Chicago #1 in the National media.
Where was the Uber driver from? Maybe El Salvador, or Juarez, where a little back and forth gunfire is normal? Or is he or she terminally stupid?
Kinda like the robbery7 i9n 015 or 025 where about 20 guys robbed a woman of only 19 dollars? Gee, that's a pack of smokes and a couple 40 to go around..
Good ol 011
You invite a stranger into your car and they direct you to an address, where they shoot at someone.
You, Uber-driver, chaser of the 'easy buck', are lucky he didn't eliminate the sole witness by shooting you in the back of the head.

Stolen phone and probably credit card as well... Duh
Bring back Jerry Feldman from Yellow Cab and his son Jeffrey Feldman from Checker cab. The two had an iron fisted control over the taxi industry in Chicago controlling 80% of all issued taxicab medallions in Chicago. When the Feldmans had control there were no problems.
Mr. Feldman so loved his city he took good care of the mayor and his aldermen by supplementing their retirement through his generosity. We need to get back to the good old days where tight controls on licensing and municipal oversight ensured beautiful taxi rides for commuters. When aldermen choose business winners and losers it is a win-win for the citizens of Chicago. With the right people in charge you would not have so many problems as these amateur fly by night taxi operations.

Mo' foolitness please!
Waiting for a ride-by shooting... Two m/fers
(one facing backwards with the strap and the other pedaling like
Lucifer was prodding him in his ass with a red-hot
pitchfork) on one of Rahm's legendary "prize winning" red Divvy
bikes that's rumored to be floating around.
Sometimes if you just wait for it,
funny happens right in front of you.
>Sound of wheels madly turning
then of gun fire...
Sight of two grinning goblins on
a worse for the wear red Divvy
and doin' what comes brown,
stank and nat'chal to them<
Coming soon to a formerly safe neighborhood
near YOU...
Certainly looks like the Uber 2015 initiative to reach out to our "under-served" communities is working out just fine. From their corporate offices, they can only see a class of victims who have been denied recent developments in urban transportation because of racism, excessive police force and The Grinch Who Stole Taxis Everywhere South Of Chicago Av and West of Pulaski. Reap what you sow, m*therf#ckers.

Well what do you expect when they give the streets to the savage?
(OT) looks like retired coppers will fill civilian position as coppers are back on the street!
Dean Angelo, president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said he welcomed having more officers working alongside those already on patrol as long as the department is not eliminating positions protected under the union contract.
He said the department should encourage retired officers to apply for the civilian positions that are opening up. “They have the experience and they can be trusted,” Angelo said.
Don't worry Lt DHM will solve it!!!!
