Yes there was a vehicle north also with roaches too .
Sick! These cars are disgusting! Officers are some of the dirtiest a$$holes out there! I've found some nasty shit in vehicles.. Is it too hard to clean up after your selves? I am surprised I haven't borough roaches or bed bugs home! We get it its not your car but have some respect for your selves and clean after your selves..
Back when I was in Roseland we had a job in the Alligator Gardens. The house was filled with little guys in tuxedos. After we left about 45 minutes later, I glanced over at my partner driving and saw this fucking HUGE cockroach crawling up my partners leg, onto his duty belt, then up his shirt up towards the vest carrier! I thought I was more scared than him until I yelled his name and pointed. He slammed on the brakes in the middle of the street, put in park and flew out of the car doing the James Brown. Some funny stuff I'll never forget, this guy would haunt your dreams.
I thought the city had a plague of rats and coyotes. Now you tell me that city owned vehicles are infested with cockroaches. It is getting so that our beloved city is not a fit place for humans to live and work.
Well, they are all over every single CPD facility why not the cars too!
Make sure you shake your shit off before you get into your own vehicle and go home at the end of the day.
Perhaps if officers didn't live like slobs in the cars. Look inside at all the food wrappers, spilled drinks and various other refuse. Live like a pig, eh?
Doesn't surprise me, some coppers are real slobs and they treat the squad like a garbage can, spitting sunflower seeds on the floor and leaving left over food in the car. Clean the fucking cars out you slobs.
It would help if coppers would clean up the vehicles after they finish their three course meal of pop, potato chips, and coffee.
OT
Now here's an in-service training I can get behind!

Can 15 even fit in a wagon?
Remember to use a child seat and buckle all in seat belts.
Clown car rule does not apply.
How about thoses bed bugs...
I' m sorry but there are some nasty individuals that do not care for other. I've had to clean up chicken carcasses, cups filled with u known liquids, empty bags of take out.
There's lots of mold and toxic fumes inside of those older Tahoe's but the powers that be won't deal with it!
When you work with pigs who eat and leave food in the car it's bound to happen.
This is just all to common in the 002 district. That place is full of giant mutant cockroaches and water bugs the size of a walnut. And lets not even talk about the bedbugs at HQ.
Look at Lipinski and Langdon Neal in Sun-Times..making tons of bucks on Taxpayers backs....In all Public Financial transactions, the rule should be 'No Justice No Bucks'. The city would be in a lot better financial shape if they followed that rule. So, how is it that ONE MAN can be a 99 MILLION DOLLAR MAN since 1999...in 16 years. All paid for Thank You by the Generosity of Criminals and Crooks who are in a position to give Taxpayer's money away.
Get 'em outta here...Runn'em outta town Fast. Nuts if we don't.
Years back I assisted on a search warrant at Cabrini Green,Cock Roaches in the Refrigerator
Does that mean that there were fifteen cockroaches were in the vehicle or were the cockroaches from 015?
There are Cockroaches in Politics so it will be hard to eradicate Cockroaches in Vehicles. Just the way it is.
Hi not fair I usually eat the left overs from last watch. I found a deep dish in the trunk o so good.
That is just nasty these dirty copper bringing their bugs from home in there bags and clothes to our cars and stations. Dirty jagoffs leave that shit at home if you still live like that and have bugs crawling on you at home.
If supervisors required officers to inspect vehicles at the beginning of their shift , this crap would end .
Bed bugs in car in 020 after some nim rod picked up a chair in an alley, put it in the Tahoe so he could bring it home. Unreal.
Sometimes there is some good picking food wise, and drink wise, left in the squads. It saves having to pay or a meal. Maybe taste a bit funny and not always smell real good, but hey, it's food and it's free.
They come from the filthy beast we put in the back of our cars. Once searched an arrestee, and upon removing his hat discovered 5 or 6 little critters roaming around on his head. Kind of made me laugh though.
Always the one thing that pissed me off the most about other coppers, they treat the cars like shit. Leave all their garbage in it, spill sticky shit all over the place. Write on the ceiling for some stupid reason and my all time favorite.....carving up the steering wheel rubber with a knife along with the fabric on the sun visors. It's not your car I get it, but it's my fucking office for 8 hrs.

General order requires you to inspect your car dummie! Take responsibility for yourself and stop blaming other people an/or passing the buck!
It's not always the coppers. Yes, some are absolute slobs, but we do put a lot of filthy and unkempt people in our cars and facilities. We transport victims, witnesses, offenders and on occasion their plastic bags, luggage, duffels and children during and after domestics, evictions and abandonments. Buy yourself a can of roach spray and blast every car you get. Under the seats, dash, floor etc. Do it when you first get the keys, then by the time you get your gear and get ready to pull out the fumes will dissipate and you can safely ride in it. Yes! It's bullshit that you have to do that, but it's better than bringing the critters home. We don't all have to make living with roaches, lice, bed bugs and rats our acceptable way of life.
There was a guy named Louie aka "Pig Pen" who was in 011 on 1st watch before. He was the king of slobs. He would stuff his face all night and leave the trash in the car like it was a garbage can. Damn thing was that the garbage can was no more than 20 feet from where he parked his squad.
The ironic thing is that he lived like a rat with all the trash in the squad and now he is in the Rat Squad at headquarters with all the other rats.
It was so much better when one vehicle was shared by the same beat everyday. The cars where taken care of better.
I've had chicken bones on the floor, banana peels, half-eaten mcdonalds, rice all over the keyboard of the pdt, and the worst of all: fingernail clippings all over the pdt keyboard. It was the old pdts where stuff could actually get stuck between the raised keys. Absolutely disgusting. I keep telling myself they were fingernails and not toenails, but hell you never know.
I 100% support a new practice where if any food, garbage, etc is found in the car from the previous watch, that the previous users be disciplined. I bet the suburbs don't stand for this nasty ghetto behavior.
Welcome to the job better not have quite your last job!
Did Rahm do a ride along in 015?

Former Project Cop: We learned not to take the elevators unless we had to, not to lean on the walls or sit down, and when we left a building do the CABRINI STOMP to shake the critters off. Kept home infestations at a minimum.

Yes and PLEASE-PLEASE=PLEASE DO NOT dump the trash onto the station parking lot.
I used to drive down alleys and dump my trash in alley city supercarts. Now that citizens have to pay a tax for that they might get upset.
Nothing in the contrat by fop said no roaches.
yeah i just got rid of bed bugs and i know i brought them home from work
Two things survive a nuclear assault......cockroaches and Keith Richards! Nothing will kill Ole Keef, fuck naw....
Those are your Aldermen checking up on you, show some respect.
Car washes are free. I get mine washed couple times a week. If you get in a dirty car get it cleaned.
I like roaches more than I like aldercreatures. Much more.

Most cops won't do that they don't have the time to be bothered with that shit and they can't afford $3 can of roach spray, it's pathetic! Your car is your home away from home I don't understand why it's so hard to maintain it? Enough with the bs mentality of "it's not my car it's the citie's"
Numerous times I've taken the garbage out of a squad, found out who drove it last, put it in an envelope and into the police mail for them to get the next day. Nothing like getting your garbage in the mail to remind you that your a slob!
Gather all the crap (food items , gum wrapper, empty soda cups, etc.), go to the offending partys mail box and stuff it in there. If thats not possible, drop it in front of their locker. Problem solved.
the CABRINI STOMP to shake the critters off
Youse guys are hilarious! Best comedians CPD
Please! Don't f**k up the new Fords! They have to last a very, very long time.

Your dumb ass is going to sit in a car for 8.5 hours after you spray it with roach spray? What the fuck is wrong with you? A cockroach would survive nuclear fall out and you want to immerse yourself in the poisin that is designed to kill it. Fucking retarded.
