- Five people were killed and at least 26 others wounded in shootings across Chicago this weekend.
The latest homicide happened early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
Perry Burrell, 26, was found with a gunshot wound to the head about 2:45 a.m. in a vehicle that had crashed into a tree in the 4500 block of West Adams, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The Tribune had some tape of the family rushing the crime scene tape and "motherf@#$ing" the police, as if the police went and shot this altar boy, which was surprising. Usually, that doesn't see the light of day.
Also, congratulations to the 011th District - this was their 40th homicide of the year. No one else has even hit 30 yet. And that doesn't even count the two chopped up bodies found this year - "death investigations" you know.

OT- Here is how much the citizens of Chicago dont like the police. Three friends are working in the 020 dist. They are on a personal in a nice quiet restaurant. They are chatting with the owner of the establishment when they see two attractive girls driving E/B on Brynmawr avenue. My officer friend in 020 tells me, one officer waives at them, as a hello gesture. The second officer sees them smile so the second officer waives hello and so does the third. The owner of the restaurant sees the whole incident and says nothing about it. Three officers waiving to two young ladies in a car across the street while they are driving. The two girls go around the block and are driving E/B on Brynmawr again. The officers see them again and all three officers waive hello, and one officer gives a thumbs up sign. They turn down a side street and are gone now.
Ten min later there is a call for a supervisor at the location of this incident, or shall you say, HELLO WAIVE. Bt 2020 shows up and the two ladies in the vehicle tell the Sgt, they are being sexually harassed by all three officers. The Sgt, asks them how did they sexually harass them. They said the officers were winking, making hand gestures, and waiving at them. The Sgt says what exactly did they do to sexually harass you, she says, they were waiving at us. Sgt says how do you know they were waiving at you, there are a lot of people on the street. The girl says, we were taught in school that that is sexual harassment. She then gets mad at the Sgt, storms away and slams her door, and leaves the scene. Oh one last thing, she waited 25 min for the Sgt to show up, and claimed that the three officers were spying on here!!!
What the fuck is the matter with people? Polite gesture of a hello to a citizen, who might or might not have been attractive. But I guess since the officers are in uniform, the dumb bitch looks for a reason to get the officers in trouble. I am so sick of this bullshit job. The officer showed me the call for 911 that was dispatched to 2020, but I won't post it because I dont want to get him in trouble, we all know we can't use cameras on duty. This whole job is a joke.
