I wanna protest the two African American who killed the white lady that was two months pregnant. Where are the revrunds to help me out.
I see an armed crazed lunatic running through the streets. ..... Already escaping one group of officers, now encountering more officers after fleeing previous officers refusing command after command, I see a taser deployed unsuccessfully, and I then see offender turn towards officers armed with a knife in his hand. This all after he was identified by numerous citizens in calls to 911 and on the street visible in the video as an armed offender threatening people. During this same incident he slashed squad tires and broke out a squad window. It's sickening to hear the blatant lies and agenda driven comments and edits with no factual basis from these news outlets. I see an offender shot with an object in his hand, I see him lay there and then make a movement still with the knife clutched in his hand to get up receiving more gunshots.
I'm retired and wondering why I don't see any helmets. WTF!
We had a call of a drunk wielding a knife years ago. I turned the corner of a side street in Pilsen to see a Hispanic male walking with a closed pocket knife with a 6" blade staring at me on the sidewalk. Another unit pulls up behind me. I'm out of the car,gun drawn and order him to stop and drop it. He continues, opens the blade and is about 15 feet from the officers behind me. I've seen how quick an offender with a knife can move in on someone or throw a knife before first hand. Fearing for the unit behind me, I unloaded, 13 rounds. Supt. Rodriguez arrived on the scene shortly afterward, chuckled and said '13 times, had to make sure you got him huh..' I told him the reason for my decision, I had a shot so I took it with all I had. He said good work officer, you had those guys backs. Nowadays, apparently I'd be on trial for 1st degree murder.
And there will still be pos driving 100 mph thru the ghetto answering bullshit calls running and gunning. How about giving them the service they deserve. Fuck the police they say good handle the shit yourselves. Fuck this city. My life matters.

Consider this diversion, in conjunction with thousands exercising their 1st ammendment rights with a litany of first responders all given a national platform in a densely populated downtown Chicago. I'm watching the protests last night on TV and wondered why the goofballs were allowed to block intersections in the South Loop. I'm in favor of freedom of speech but doesn't it cross the line when they disrupt traffic and prevent people from taking care of their business? What happens if an emergency vehicle needs to get through?

I think its going to be extremely busy tonight, but Tom Skilling is calling for a major "rain event" lets hope the idiots thugs protesting get soaked and show their tyrue colors hiding just go home! Many are now coming from other states to cause mayhem, then after they screw up this city they ride home and enjoy their peaceful neighborhood, what should happen is the news media when they interview these agitators ask them what city they are from,and since they are from here ask them to leave,maybe use the crowd and explain how they came here not for McDonald but to destroy their way of life! Bet the crowd would turn on them quickly!

You won't be on trial, but by outing yourself on this public blog you may have bought yourself a ticket to the stand. If I were his lawyer, I'd have you on the stand testifying.
Why doesn't CFD hose down the protestors that are illegally blocking traffic .
30 degrees and some ice cold water will have them leaving the area .
Sawyers old man was pro police and would be disappointed in his kids cowardice that promotes violence against a police officer . This is an example of why Chicago should only have 12 alderman , a clown like this would never be elected , most blacks are pro police , proof of that is the few hundred welfare rats downtown protesting . All were at one time cps honor roll students , you can tell by their command of the English language .
As a PO who works in gang enforcement, I just want to give a shout out to to all the bike guys and girls out there. You guys worked your ass's off at nato and these last couple days. You guys held it down. Thank you.
