It's sad that the actions of one officer are preventing bosses from allowing officers to spend Thanksgiving with their families. Would have been nice to not have DOH denied due to fears of protests and disturbances. I've heard so many disturbing things about this video that if only one of two of those details are even partially true, this guy might as well take a plea deal.
I'd welcome that. Saw him once at HQ, looked me in the eye and said "hi", which is more than I can say for a lot of other bosses strutting around the ivory tower.

WTF! You make me sick. I hope you are a civilian. If your the Police quit your whining and grow a pair. Video just like DNA does not tell the whole story. Your crying about DOH, how about thinking about this officer being tried in the court of public opinion because a criminal on PCP was wielding a knife. Things on the street change in the blink of the eye but I doubt you would know that because I doubt you do much more than complain and collect a check.
I said it back in January. LS will come back as Superintendent. Rahm is waiting for the right time. This was a done deal after Mccarthy had a heart attack.

So, without ANY knowledge of the actual incident, you are ready to throw a fellow officer under the bus because your fucking Thanksgiving dinner MIGHT be cancelled?!!!!! Quit the job now you poor excuse for a man. You are not worthy to sit a roll call with the heroes that surround you.
Maybe he fucked up, might be big time. Time will tell. If he did, it is his right to a fair trial, but you, a fellow officer are more worried about your lousy dinner.

Right!! Half the coowns trashing this p9st are to good to speak to other officers when they pass them in the hall but now this guy is wrong because he wants to be with his family!! Fuck you!! He's right he should want to be with his family, not at a protest defending a guy who shot when 5 others decided not to
