Carnage Continues
- Four people including two 15-year-old boys were shot in the Englewood neighborhood Sunday evening and two people were shot, one fatally, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
- A fight on a River North sidewalk early Sunday morning spilled into the street and left one man dead.
Chicago Police said two men got into a verbal altercation at around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Hubbard and State.
News Affairs said one hit the other in the head and the victim fell into the street. Police said the offender walked away and a Ford Sedan ran over the victim, who was lying on the ground.
We should be well over last year's February totals by Wednesday or so.

Well, if McFudgingTheNumbers were still counting, he'd make it a traffic fatality because the car killed him, not the Vanecko wannabe who hit him. Does De-Escalante subscribe to the same formula for counting?
Guy gets punched and hits the street with a thud. Would anyone like to guess what happens next? The usual uninvolved suspects decide to become involved and rummage through his motionless body and rob him of anything of value that he was carrying before scurrying back to their hole. Seconds later a cab runs him over. You can't make this shit up.
These people take their disagreements and arguments seriously. Their honor is a precious thing, to be upheld unto death. The life of a street warrior is often short and violent.
This is sadly going to be a frequent headline.
Vanecko?
D O C or D O A "they" love the status! Go WESTSIDE Go SOUTHSIDE! and the Panthers, ha ha!
Is the lust for guns a mental illness in Chicago?
Keep the line moving.
If the "Puncher" was related to Daley, Belmont and Western will make it a 19-Paul. Baby"G"
Has anyone seen Vanecko?
Those 4 o'clock downtown bars are nothing but trouble....
Cook County to require insurance for gun owners. No burden for savages committing crimes, just on the law abiding.

Did you catch Steinberg's column Sunday re: the violence? He surprised me.
Hey, wait a minute. A drunken fight in the party district that results in a death is jus " mutual combat" according to some people to include Alveraz . It worked for Venecko.
Why is it the media didn't mention the reports of people going through the victims pockets as he laid on the curb. Oh, that's right, the reports that it was "those" people (or folks) who were doing the "ransacking".
Follow all rules set by the ACLU and Rahms new police department .
Only use deadly force when you or another officer is threatened with death or great bodily harm . Citizens fighting use verbal judo from the safety of police cruiser over the loud speaker , be sure car camera is on , call for assistance , write reports . Another good idea is to start filing law suits when battered or forced to use force .
Have your "superiors" blamed the "vast" number of Illinois' Concealed Carry Licensees for the carnage, yet?
Sorry off topic...With early voting almost here, can we get some comments on sitting Judges (and candidates) up for election so the readers can be better informed at the booth?

Heard on the news last night about a "tussle" between two groups armed with bats and tree branches leaving three dead in California. I guess bats really are deadly weapons or maybe it's the branches.
Staying fetal.

Off topic is actually right on topic: CPD can/is a formidable voting block (along with their supporters). Use the ballot box to change the framework of political plantation governance.

You want the chapter on "Duels and Ordeals."
Anyone else got that slippy-slidy feeling that we are moving one step backwards, two steps back?
"We find that whole communities suddenly fix their minds upon one object, and go mad in its pursuit; that millions of people become simultaneously impressed with one delusion, and run after it, till their attention is caught by some new folly more captivating than the first."

57/Cali(fornia) might this be the work of SICARIOS?
Earmarks of Narcotraffickers' methods seem to standout.
Seems like the February murder rate is like college pre-season football practice "two-a-days". Please, Phather Flager tell your flock to stop shooting each other, surely they'll listen to YOU! If you can't do your job, find another line of work.
HA HA suck to be you dumb ass!

Vote no for every one of them.

Fox News' website is chock full o crap today, painting CPD as the villains again.
I love how they ask LeGrier's attorney about his opinion of the cop's lawsuit. "Pure Fantasy".
Why doesnt someone ask that attorney if the cop has the right to sue, and wait for his answer. Of COURSE he can sue, he was assaulted, but thanks Fox, keep posting crap to make the police look bad.
" Of COURSE he can sue, he was assaulted,"
He's going to have a hard time proving grievous injury, let alone finding a Jury sympathetic to his cause. It's a good strategy, but doomed from the start.

It needs to become standard operating procedure.
Better hope there isn't another Dt. Valentine Day Massacre.
