So of course, the carnage count is up - a three-year-old:
- A young boy was rushed to a South Side hospital after police said he became an innocent victim of gang violence. Relatives identified the victim as 3-year-old Ayden Deer.
- Two people were injured - one critically - in a shooting outside a South Loop nightclub, police said. Third Ward Ald. Pat Dowell said The Shrine is now closed permanently as a result of the shooting.
Too little, too late there Pat - we certainly hope this isn't another case of the manager bribing the aldercreature after the place had been shut down by the Department of Revenue for licensing....you know, the way certain west side establishments remained open after hosting election parties?

Here's the irony of the nightclub shooting in 001, half the nite tac teams were at ISR training being told that their street stops and searches have been unconstitutional for the past couple decades. A cold sunday on tap I think this "warm" weekend kinda fizzled to nothing really. A handful more shootings but nothing crazy.

The boy was playing with an adult male relative on the street when someone came up and shot him, police said. The relative left after the shooting happened, police said.

Police: Man, 2 cops hurt after van flees traffic stop, crashes in Cragin
A man was critically hurt and two Chicago police officers were wounded during a car crash early Sunday in the Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
Around 1:10 a.m., a dark Ford cargo van failed to stop at the red light in the 3200 block of North Long Avenue and struck a police SUV as well as two parked cars and a street pole before coming to a stop, according to police.
Shortly before the accident, another pair of police officers had pulled the van over. As officers walked up to the vehicle, the van sped off, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
A 35-year-old man who was driving the van was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Alfaro said.
Two male officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals, Alfaro said.
Four passengers inside the van refused medical attention, said Chicago Fire Department Chief Juan Hernandez.
The driver of the van was in custody, and charges against him were pending.
So, some officers pull a van over (why?!!!) and the van sped off (why pursue?!!!) and crashes into a police vehicle, injuring two officers and damaging several cars.
Was it WORTH IT, GUYS?!!

will the last decent law abiding, tax paying, righteous person leaving Shitcago please turn out the lights. This city is way past trying to save thanks to the Toni, Rahm, Tom Dart, ACLU, BLM, and all the store front and fake reverunds. God help the decent people (ie police, fire, ems, school employees, teachers, etc. that have to try to keep their heads above the "water" in this cesspool of individuals (I won't even refer to them as people/folks, much less human beings because they are not even animals. At least animals take care of their young. My dog has more common sense and compassion then these subhumans that populate the city. STAY SAFE OUT THERE, AND GOD BLESS!
Regarding Chief Williams giving the questions to his former CPD secretary and current NOBLE secretary Y.B. .... does any one out there know of a good lawyer that would be willing to start a class action law suit on a contingency basis?
