DOJ Ride-Alongs?

From a regular e-mailer:
  • It seems the Dept of Justice has been asking to do ride alongs in certain south side districts. The FOP advises that if you are not comfortable with these gas-bags riding along with you, you are within your rights to refuse. We say ask for that cage car and stick them in the back.
Anyone actually seen a DOJ representative riding along in a district yet?

LOL why not ask for Father Michael Pfleger to ride with you? Or Jesse Jackson? Al Sharpton? And have them bring a film crew with them while they are at it? Shit why not bring the mayor and Loretta Lynch too. I'm so glad I hit 20 years next June 30th. Just over a year and I'm done. 22 Years with my military time.

Heh...
Yeah...
They're "Law Enforcement."
>Snicker!<

Rumor has it they're pretty smart and have their
graduate degrees in street survival and what not...

Try to get it on camera when a member of Dude Inc.
steps to one of these Feds and kisses him...

"Shit! Don't look at US!
HE wants YOU to be HIS
dance partner! Do what
you gotta. We'll stand
back and just be the
expert witnesses for the
prosecution this time.
Have fun..."

Cue:
A bunch of posts about "Hey! Don't be so mean!
We're all on the same team!"

No the fuck we aren't.
They're here to make their daily bread
by hurting any and all Policemen
on whim and pretext.

Funny...
Not one iota of Federal muscle being expended
on the democratic voting death cultists on the
west and south sides of this city who spray shit
and misery every-fucking-where they venture.

Plus they kill the fucking grass where ever they set foot...

Policemen are easy to target/declare war on.
Being majority very decent people who have
compelling rules and laws to abide by on top
of having certain conditions of employment.

Thusly, you're very unlikely to hear about
Policemen doing shit like aiming a stolen car
at somebody's front porch, winding the seatbelt
around the steerings wheel, lighting it on fire
and depositing a cinder lock on the gas pedal
(or some similar such) in retaliation for being
"targeted."

Now we kind of wish the vertical jungles
were still standing...

It would be worth the aggravation making them
dismount, tag along and troop up 16 to 20 floors
of fun and frolic.

"Watch your ste... Damn..."

It would be a joy to see lawyers with guns
mind broken from seeing the anthropomorphic
lava boiling down the fucking stairs consuming
EVERYTHING in it's path...

All y'all old "up and down Po-leece"
probably still have nightmares
about that shit.

"All I saw were teeth and eyes in the dark..."

The Feds are big boys who have
more and better toys so they can
fend for themselves out there in
the bloody shit-mud running through
the streets in this God-Forsaken city.

Police like you have no friends.

Quit being pussies. Take the DOJ rep out, do a few traffic stops for the oblivious violations you see every five minutes, and do what Coppers do best; bitch and complain about the department! Let them see the shit we have to deal with day in and day out. If you know how to do your job properly and ARTICULATE it you have nothing to worry about. And keep in mind there are doing a complete review of the dept. not just civil right stuff. When they suggest that the department needs to provide better equipment and more officers the city has to comply. Almost all DOJ reviews have resulted in new and better equipment for the departments as well as an increase in hiring.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, December 7, 2015
Justice Department Opens Pattern or Practice Investigation into the Chicago Police Department

As part of the investigation the department will gather information directly from police officers and local officials; community members, and other criminal justice stake holders, such as public defenders and prosecutors. The department will also observe officer activities through ride-alongs and other means; as well as review documents and specific incidents that are relevant to the investigation. Pattern or practice investigations of police departments do not assess individual cases for potential criminal violations; instead they look at incidents for patterns created by systems and practices.

If a district does this, it'd probably be a good idea to do it as a tour only, to show the DOJ what the ghetto looks like. At least the first few times anybody from the DOJ does this, unless they are from the DEA (yeah, right, these are the civil rights division folks, right?), most of the goofs in the DOJ have no idea what a northern ghetto looks like at night.

Overall its probably actually a good idea to let them see what the police deal with. But that's about it. They shouldn't be with officers as they are going to jobs.

If you get them in the back of a cage car tell them how bogus the meritorious promotions are. It's a morale killer. Lack of manpower wears on everyone. 13500 was just enough. 12000 is too short. Dispatch policy sucks. We send the police to everything. Other city agencies that should handle problems take tens of hours to come out. Example leave some in the station waiting for Human Services and come back the next day and their still there. Training on the computer is not in-service training.

You get the drift.

these armed lawyers will have to fend off Dude by themselves.

Policemen KNOW street survival.
Feds take a block of instruction...

We can't think of one fed who stood
eyeball-to-eyeball with a crazy m/fer
with a gun in his hand while his eyes
are spinning like a slot machine as
he actively calculates his odds of a win.

>DING! Lemons...<

What's this "Failure to cooperate is a federal crime?"

A real live crime should be the block headed insistence
of these federal "law enforcement experts" riding along
with Chicago Policemen.

Consider the feebs as a very real danger to your lives
and an officer safety impediment.

Training and mindset are too different.
The feebs have the gift of arriving after the fact and 20 years
after that to bring an incident to conclusion.

Policemen deal in the right-motherfucking-now when
violence of action is often the only reasonable recourse
they have.

People are fucked-up in the head with this notion
that a sworn oath of office equates with a willingness
to suffer harm/die at the hands of a criminal because
the sheeple are squeamish about The Policeman
being well versed in the art and use of violence.

We'd prefer to come in peace, but...

understand, we speak it fluently."

Okay...even I know you're full of shit , but your stuck. Either pull the cord and move to a department where they will buy your war stores from your time as a SGT in 6...or continue working CPD and make sure you Back up and Support your Troops.

Leading from the Front means making sure the people behind you come home alive every day and don't get FUCKED by some asshole in the Ivory Tower.

DO your job correctly and the ACLU is still going to be looking for any and all reasons to find a sacrificial goat. And the White shirts above you are going to check you out to see if you can be jammed up for signing off on an ISR that isn't 100% written by Daley loop hole proof.

"I got your Back" as Rahm was looking to shove a shiv into Gary.
"I got your Back" as Rahm happily lies through his teeth over how broke the city is and why your pensions are in such a mess.
"I got your Back" as Rahm tries to butt fuck every union member in the City while enriching the connected the same way that Daley did it for 21 years...and no one talks......and every one elbows their way to the trough to get Commanders Pay for the Detail or House mouse gig's at the expense of "whatever ethics and morals" they Might have had before someone gave them the "wink wink" you take care of me and I'll take care of you....

I get on view arrests or parkers or movers or DOPW or other ANOVs that you can state you visually witnessed.

Proactive, Police Academy 2, Tackleberry shit can and most likey WILL Get a PO sued into retirement if not escorted to the MCC while awaiting trial.

Those days are gone just like revolvers. Today officers are punished and sued for mistakes. Not worth the risk Sgt. Your great city is busting at the seams and the homicide count will break all records. The ISR report is the straw that broke the camel's back. DOJ is not the enemy, they are here to make improvements. ACLU, BLM and our politicians are the enemy. Gutless, incompetent white shirts lead us from behind. Deescalate is the new buzz word. Working tact cop here. I do ISRs only when I have to. I am 100% in agreement on staying fetal. But it's hard when you see someone that is dirty and you can't and don't do anything about it. I ve had 5 on the hood and wonder who could have shot me because I didn't search them because I didn't want to do 5 ISRs and answer at least 225 questions. The fact is ISRs are going to get a cop killed. Then when that unfortunate day comes maybe and I mean maybe the power hungry powers that be will realize they fuked up and change it. I am not going to be stuck writing ISRs that take a long time. But I will always have my gun ready for these savages. They are going to catch on. Why isn't this option "pat down conducted so that I don't get blown away and never see my wife and kids again" a damn option on ISR in reference to why a pat down was conducted. Those things are going to get cops killed. Stay fetal and watch you backs. We are all we have.

What is there to be afraid of if you are doing your job? We are sounding like a bunch of paranoid ghetto ministers. Don't start nothing won't be nothing. Do your job and do it correctly. These ride alongs will be a teachable moment for these DOJ lawyers. It's time to turn the corner and start policing again. That will be my message at roll call. In Gresham we will stand up and hold the line. If you don't like being the POLICE go be a corny suburban cop or bid out to 016. On the south side WE will engage with any DOJ lawyers and show them the realities of being the real police. They will see the good and the bad with respect to the complex social dynamics that cause us to be more thoughtful and innovative in the implementation of our policing strategies! The CPD is about to see its finest hours. We will rise to the level of the RAF' defense of England during WWII. Folks it going to be Good. Folks we ain't in Montana. Gotta love the new phrases and terminology on SCC. **laughs** "The liberal democrat voting death cult in Chicago** have to have my SCC dose with my coffee.Emptying out the jails, and having the ACLU and Black lives matter up your ass 24-7 as a police officer sucks. The Media puts the spotlight on ya more often then the over abundance of gang crime. And now The DOJ is here, as well as cops pretty much being told in so many ways they have no rights. I wonder if my body language while getting coffee will be scrutinized too.

Make sure you put these guys in the narrative of your arrest reports as witnesses. And make sure you point that out to the defense attorney. Especially if you do a 501.
Let these guys take the stand for a while.

No, not in our district yet but they were in 003, 002 and 025 this period.. starting 3rd period they already have 2 ride alongs per day (mon-fri only) for the entire period just in the 007th district. An assistant US attorney went for a ride along in 003 the other night. I didnt think the US attorneys had anything to do with any of this??? Guess I was wrong.

When the DOJ become's aware of how vulnerable our computers are to hackers, Deputy Lewin will be shitting in his pants. The deputy was warned many years ago that even an amateur hacker could break in to our systems, and just ignored what he was told. The CPD I.T. is so outdated that we are considered ancient in the Information Technology world. Clarity and Unisys will not be able to save the Deputy from the disaster that already exist and will only get worse. Bye Bye Deputy Lewin. I hope you find a good spot when you become demoted to L.T.

2/20/2016 07:39:00 AM

===============================

Apparently, you are not following your own ending advice. You say to stay fetal but you are not. WTF?

DOJ must justify its existence and the time and effort and money to do this event with the CPD. I really don't think their report will say that they found nothing, all is well and they did not see any bad police behavior. Keep that in mind when you are around them. I don't think they are your friend.

Ask at the next meeting to Capparelli when he started paying the higher salary payments to the Donahue/Dougherty/Ag-u-liar/DiMaria/Bailey/Davis/Capparelli City-Wide Team. At what board meeting was it approved at and what general meeting was it voted on? Please ask Sid to produce the tapes of both that board meeting and that general meeting.

I make no accusations but only put it out for discussion.
