More "Protests"
Oh wait....our bad. There were exactly zero protests over this:
- Four men were killed and at least 12 other people have been wounded since late Friday morning in shootings across the city.
Just minorities killing minorities. No need to protest that, not when there are Trump rallies to riot at and ambulances to block and suburbanites to assault and highways to shut down.

These are not peaceful protests and should be shut down. They are criminals under the guise of free speech. They should be arrested for stopping free speech. This is what faculty from colleges are teaching the youth. Education is broken. Sanders wants "free" college so the liberal democratics can brainwash all the youth. Nothing is free, another thing we will be paying for. There is free college available now, and payments earned for attending. Is he that clueless?
A Sgt. recommended calling the FOP on Monday to beef about no protective equipment being allowed on police officers in harms way. I will call FOP. I read that department Emails should be sent to your supervisors regarding this including your commander so there is a record of the request.

Look around on the web -- there are locking brackets/devices available for cat. converters, but I don't know how effective they are. They said high-ground-clearance vehicles are naturally easier targets...
Oh -- no danger of anyone learning to use a tool around here. Washburne Trade School (sadly; I remember the fine young apprentice carpenters coming out of there, great kids and proud and cocky as hell) is history and probably most schools have removed that "useless old metal/wood shop" and put a computer room in, where the semi-literate can learn to f__k up your medical bills or something in between watching rap videos and porn.
Friday night i was coming into Chicago from the southwest suburbs. I came down Archer Ave and at 63rd St there was a traffic backup. I could not believe my eyes. There was a line of people, two abreast, circling the corner of Archer and 63rd St. The line went around this corner for two blocks. But what got me is when I did turn the corner and line went from 65th and Archer, to 63rd St, to Argo summit High School. That is approximately 5 blocks. What were they there for, a speech given by Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders. This line as I said was almost 7 blocks long consisting of 2 abreast. Here is what I did not see: I did not see any Donald Trump Protestors, I did not see any black lives matter protesters, or any moveon.org protestors. There were no protesters there whatsoever. My point is that Trump's people were attempting to hear what Donald was going to say. However, because of various protests groups, they were denied this privilege. How come Bernie Sanders came have a rally and be able to have it peacefully. Shouldn't Donald Trump be able to have a similar rally. this once again proves that Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression is only for the far left liberals. Trump who is not even a Conservative and his supporters should have the same rights as Sanders and his supporters. I would also like to note that the vast majority of the people Sanders waiting line were, WHITE AND BOTH YOUNG AND MIDDLE AGE. What is saw was scary.
Sanders trumpeting this AM that ALL police-involved shootings and ALL deaths in custody should be investigated by DOJ.

I've read about the advise to request permission from command staff for permission to wear protective equipment at these protests through dept email. The idea is to get them on record because we all know they only verbalize stuff like that so they can deny it later. However, you can bet they will either respond with a "I'll get back to you" or they won't respond at all. The later is more likely so they can say they never read the email. One thing is sure they will never put that in writing. Sad part is even having to ask to wear a simple helmet. Sad times
