- False Statements Outside of Work
This after how many members of IAD got promoted via cheating? With Mrs Wysinger and her coffee-klatsch scoring in the upper stratosphere after being "merit" promoted to sergeant, spending all their time off the street at HQ, but suddenly getting top marks on a test that's supposed to measure their ability to apply Patrol solutions to Patrol issues.
It boggles the mind.

Listen up boys and girls and remember that if you don't want something you said to come back to bite you in your ass, then don't say it while in the car. And don't assume because you are in the station talking to your partner or another cop that your body mic is not recording, maybe it ain't and maybe it is.
What's worse is the guy spent two years in prison for a case that was ultimately nolle prossed.
Lessons learned:
NEVER EMBELLISH THE TRUTH to help get charges approved. Let the state determine if they'll prosecute, then you can sleep at night knowing you did what you were supposed to.
THE CAMERAS ALWAYS RECORD, activation of the lights just bookmarks where to skip to an event. The defense probably listened for hours to find that tidbit to prove the officer(s) actions differed from their testimony.
IF IT'S WORTH DOING, IT'S WORTH DOING RIGHT! If your making an arrest, document it like it happened. The days of "drop" cases should have been over with a decade ago. Know how to do paper...SERIOUSLY "KNOW" how to do it.

So when are they going to call in a dozen or so exempts and ask them if they had any knowledge of cheating on the Lt.s exam plus a dozen or so of our new wonder Lt.s asking them the same question. Then after the investigation is complete it will make it much easier to file them all. Think of the benefit to our pension fund after this bunch of scum with their Gold Braid Pensions are filed and removed from the pension rolls.

There are two sets of rules.
Advocacy implies that you are helping; here the question is Whom? Now, how does this work, IAD initiates violations of Rules 2 and 14, and that is just for openers. Meanwhile by orchestrating a major cheating scam, on City property; and they are going to lecture coppers about ethics? This is like a magic show: you watch one hand, and the other hand slips something past you. The FBI needs to come in on this. IAD lectures coppers on credibility, when they themselves have lost any they might have had! The whole promotion system, especially "Merit" is rotten and needs to be investigated by an outside agency. A promotion is a monetary gain,and if it is done in a corrupt manner, then it is a form of Theft. And if someone who is part of the corruption, is collecting a pension, then it is on-going and there are no statutes of limitation on it. Baby"G"

The Federal Election Commission has questioned House Democrat Bobby Rush's campaign over a campaign finance report that showed thousands of dollars spent on vague categories such as “campaign visibility” and “services rendered.”
In a letter sent Sunday, the FEC asked Rush's campaign for more details about expenditures in those categories and others and warned an audit could result if questions weren't answered.
The FEC singled out Rush's report covering Feb. 25 through March 31. One area of FEC interest was cash disbursements, including “Cash to Pay Election Day Workers.” A $23,000 cash disbursement on the day of the primary went to campaign treasurer Sheila L. Jackson for that purpose, reports show.
The FEC's letter gave the campaign a June 20 deadline to respond.
Rush, who is from Chicago's South Side and took his congressional seat in 1993, easily won a March primary election. His campaign paid his wife, Carolyn, $50,000 in 2015 for consulting, and his brother, Marlon Rush, of Lansing, $13,000 in 2016 for two months' work as campaign manager, according to FEC reports. Four others with the surname Rush were paid a total of nearly $14,000 this year, the reports show.

The case of the partner not helping while radio transmissions and oemc was notified of 10-1 situation is truth. That fucking guy walked up to his partner with coffee in his hand while he stood over and watched his partner fight off a guy who took a chunk out of his forearm. That's fucked up! Dude is calling for help, his partner hears it and nonchalantly walks up with coffee in hand while he's in a full scale brawl with the offender trying to disarm him. Luckily, the offender got the shit kicked out of him and was subdued alone by the p.o. calling for help. The partner just stood there and watched the whole thing go down. Not a recruit as a partner, accused had time on the job. Good riddens you fucking asshole!!!Karma is a bitch.
If anyone is shocked that these promotional exams are fixed for certain clouted people you are extremely naive and have been living under a rock for some time.These promotions have been fixed for certain people for as long as I can remember.That is just the way it is and nothing is going to change that short of the entire dept being dismantled.

Are you deliberately misunderstanding the term 'advocate'? The title is DEPARTMENT ADVOCATE. It isn't 'sworn personnel advocate', it's the person(s) who represent and stand for the DEPARTMENT's interests, not yours (read: City).

You are wrong. Supervisors with clout and merit supervisors get promoted. The rest of us have it not as bad as blue shirts but bad enough.
when an officer swears that his " private life will be unsullied" he allows himself to be scrutinized on and off duty.
And the Dept to discipline him for off duty conduct
A lot of this IAD not doing anything but killing the investigations go's back to whoever the overall boss was at the time. You think the Chief is going to let another boss go down,forget it.They will kill the investigation as soon as they find out the beef is true. And in the case of the whistle blowers they will try to ruin your career as we can see if you follow the lawsuit.Can anyone guess who the Chief was during this and who was the Sgt handling it who was told to back off? Inquiring mine's want to know.This one is going to cost the city because the IAD killed it and the FBI picked the ball up and got the thief's.But again let's fuck with the lowly patrolmen because there are two sets of rules for bosses and clouted connects.Remain extra fetal and be safe. Hope they ask the mayor about the code of silence in his office and the city departments and council and see how he spin's that. Maybe he will have to make an appointment with the former mayors doctor before he testifys and they discover he can't remember.
Interesting reading on the Police One blog. Several PA State Police recruits were dismissed for cheating on an exam while a Southern Sheriff terminated an instructor and several deputies for cheating. Both agencies cited the axiom that honesty was an absolute for their staff, etc. Meanwhile, the same drivel emanates from our CPD administration. Does the lamestream media cover the story? What does our resident professor Dr. Dean Angelo have to say? Seems to me that anytime a lie needs to be buried, the Supt. issues a PAX 501. Remember the old spoof FAX 501? Can still recall that one was signed "Ratt L. Rodriguez".
