From our active duty friends, this tidbit from the Orifice of New Affairs:
Now you can "get facts from CPD Command Staff about anything that's on your mind"!!!!!
And "We all have a hand in making our Department even better and your submission will go a long way in helping to separate fact from rumors"!!!!
That's an amusing phrasing of "your submission," isn't it? If you submit to the will of the Exempt Staff, everything will be all good! And the check is in the mail, right?
Didn't this exist back in our day as Rumor Central? And didn't Jody try this once, with his "Checkerboard Chat" that SCC buried after the Orange One tried to call them out? That board got shut down after everyone starting asking uncomfortable questions about why Aunt Bea was launching people out of spots when they questioned policy at the so-called "ask-anything open forums."
How about everyone start asking how they can get the answers to the next promotional exam? Or how certain people managed to get perfect/near-perfect scores without being able to pass the previous promotional test and having to rely on "merit"?
Maybe ask Barb West - she just got Gene Williams old spot AND she used to work IAD as a Sergeant and Lieutenant, running illegal First Amendment investigations with nary a care in the world.

Reminds me of when a cop I knew got up to ask Jody a question down at HQ when Jody would have these open exchange information meetings. The cop had to I.D. himself. Soon thereafter the cop was bounced from the unit he was assigned. And the caveat made then was that any question could be asked without fear of reprisal. Yeah right! You are all warned.

All emails are FOIA records. So anyone can ask and get them.
Give it a month, then FOIA the emails and responses. Keep 'em honest!

This is a true story. I worked with the officer that got dumped. Stand up guy.
He was dumped before he got to work the next day.

I recently started to watch " The Wire" on Comcast. It is a six years TV series about the Baltimore Police. I can't stop watching it. You will see CPD all over this series. Drug dealing, city hall politics and interference in the police department, corrupt prosecutors office, corrupt politicians, interference in the police department by the " reverends", racial spoils and preferences within the police department, gang and drug murders and shooting just about every day, political promotions in the department, all of it. I have never seen anything like it. I can't imagine that Baltimore was happy about this and I can't imagine that the liberals would ever let something like this on TV.
You notice it is done by ancient email not an open FORUM so you can actually see the post live.
Genius I wish i was an I.T. nerd.
The bosses are following a cookie cutter format to reform the department this is just one of the steps.

right up working police for missing silly court status hearings check?
Call IPRA another name and keep all the same employees investigators check?
buy cheap cameras and stick them only on beat officers not specialized units check?
What is being done about the cheating scandal? Is that a fair question? Are there Rule 14 violations that will be enforced for cheaters?

None other than Cmdr. Kulbida of 012. If rumors are correct, a betting man would put his money on Bubblehead getting surgery on his injured shoulder, playing the IOD hand he was dealt and riding it into retirement early next year.
The odds on favorite for acting commander is Capt. "Special" K.

I was in 011 today and saw a $10 bill posted in several locations in the Tac office. I took a closer look and it had a picture of "Bubblehead" in the center!
This was hilarious. I will never forget how he screwed up the 011 golf outing and Starks had to write a check to cover what Bubblehead Gambled away.

This department is full of leadership winners so why not. Capt. "Special" K had a IR # for assaulting his wife; the photos of the wife were chilling dig them up if you do not believe me. This guy is way more qualified to lead this department in the wake of recent scandals than bubblehead.
