We Can't Make This Up

  • Moments after Dominiq Greer held a news conference Wednesday to announce a lawsuit seeking $15 million from the city — alleging a Chicago Police officer wrongfully shot him seven times — he was arrested on a murder warrant as he waited for a ride.

“I had no clue,” said his lawyer Eugene Hollander, who hosted the 10 a.m. conference at his Loop office. “It’s definitely a surprise to me. He was going to grab an Uber back home and as he was waiting a squad car pulled up.”
Nice client you got there Counselor.

But hey, Rahm opened up a giant can of stupid and even a lawyer has to eat something besides car food. Get a load of the case he filed:
  • At his press conference Wednesday, Greer said he illegally obtained a gun to protect himself following the fatal shooting of his close friend Brian Weekly on June 7, 2014, in the 5600 block of South Wabash — the same block where Kevin Larry was killed this May.

Greer said he was carrying the same gun on July 4, 2014, when Chicago Police officers chased him. He said he threw the gun away before an officer shot him seven times.
So he had a gun? And he said he tossed it? So (A) the police didn't plant it and (B) they were chasing the right guy.

Now get this - even IPRA agreed this jagoff had a gun, and he tossed it, and IPRA found weapon discharged upon striking the ground, leading the officers to believe he was under fire and was therefore justified in returning fire. Then, when jagoff refused to show his hands, he got shot again.

And IPRA cleared the officer of any wrongdoing!

But hey, put this jagoff on the stand in his orange prison jumpsuit. We're sure he's a completely credible individual.

Once again the Chitcago Justice System screwed up and someone died.
The punk is underage, armed and caught red handed. Hhe is out on the streets less than two years later?
If the government did its job, Kevin would still be alive, because this punk would still be in jail.
I wonder how many other crimes Dominiq pulled while he was out and about, rather than doing righteous time?

The further empowerment of the criminal class by the Democrats. This is what the president, Hillary, Rahm and all the pandering professional politicians have sunk us to.

I got no clue either. How is it that someone who was barely comprehensible when I heard him on news radio, and who apparently has "no visible means of support" other than dice games has an expensive lawyer holding "conferences" in "Loop offices," and a fancy smartphone filled up with the money to whistle up Ubers to get around town?

There seem to be so many like this -- and it ain't rolling on a $5.00 Obamaphone and $130/month LINK card, and "home" isn't an underpass.

Someone didn't "check their privilege" here, that's for sure. So what's the real game? How y'all gettin over?

It does not matter if IPRA cleared these officers. I was cleared back 4 years ago and I am back being interviewed by IPRA on this closed case. These cases have no time limits. And can be reopened by IPRA, IAD, IG or now DOJ. Witch hunts.

Wake up officers, you are now the targets. The FOP has nothing to say about this, except they are looking into this matter.

Be prepared to answer questions on any action you take or have taken in past.

Good work by A/O`s who knew of the warrant and where to find him. Then placed him in the Uber police vehicle and took him back to his real home at 26th street.

Hey SCC you might be able to get a story out of this one ... It seems the state reps in Cal have passed a whole slew of new laws making it much more difficult for the peasants to own or carry firearms but they have of course excluded themselves from said rules ... So it seems that pretty soon the only people in Cal who will be carrying a weapon are felons and lawmakers ... Lol I'm not going to bother with the obvious here but ya just have to wonder if the liberal have the shame gene

*******

I was called in for an interview in which I was a witness three years ago and was now an accused. I called FOP and a lawyer met me at the interview. As soon as I met the investigator with a lawyer they let me leave. No questions.

So Fop is doing a lot more than looking into it.

All if the people at IPRA are like rats on a sinking ship trying to save their jobs starting with the head of IPRA.
