Cops Hurt in Chase

  • Two people were dead, and at least four Chicago police officers were injured late Friday morning in a police pursuit that started following a Tinley Park robbery and ended in the city's West Pullman neighborhood.

According to preliminary information from authorities, two suspects were dead from the crash at 125th Street and Union Avenue. Four Chicago police officers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, authorities said.

Reports indicated one officer suffered a broken arm, and another suffered a broken leg.

The chase began after a robbery in Tinley Park , and police took four suspects into custody, all of them injured, two of them critically, said Chicago police spokesman....
Oh, and some wastes-of-protoplasm died during all this. We're mostly concerned for the coppers, who are looking like they're going to be off for a while. A speedy recovery wished to all involved....except the criminals.

On a side note. With the bullshit going on today, you are fucking nuts for getting into this. WE ALL KNOW whats going on, and if you wish to put your career on the line for a bullshit arrest that will be tossed out, thats on you. I won't go into the crazy general order on chases, no unmarked units, but I will pay close attention to see what discipline comes down on this one. The lawsuit is inevitable, and it was an outside unit that started it with the end result, two dead and an unmarked that crashed. Good luck boys.

Off Topic, but tax bills are out since yesterday. Rahm said the average bill would go up by $400 (lol) maybe in the ghetto. Try $700 to $800 for those with a decent house in a decent neighborhood, or lots higher.

You can check you and your neighbors at the cook county viewer site that gives you the property pin numbers for the whole county.

Once you find the pin, go to cook county treasurer to find the billing amount.

Click on payments, enter pin number, add 6 character code and enter search. This will show you one or two red boxes for first and second half payments and also late fees on some properties and all exemptions. Homeowner, senior citizen, and senior freeze.

I have found several people just in my area with false exemptions, homeowner not living on the property, homeowner living in another home and claiming exemption at another house (2 exemptions), seniors not qualified by age, seniors taking freeze making well over $60,000 and falsifying income and pensions, and the most interesting was a homeowner recently passed away (worked his entire career at the Board of Elections with a take home Vehicle) and his home is listed as vacant land, making his bill around $700 a year and he should have been paying $2,500 to $3,500 a year (for over 25 years). Hello Mr. Berrios!

Another neighbor who was a City Commissioner ($170,000 a year) with a double lot paying less than the exact same size home on a single lot. He had it rezoned from two story to one story. Hello again Mr. Berrios!

How many thousands of these tax cheats exist?

How many are paying zip?

How many of Berrios's friends are getting a free ride?

That entire Assessors office needs to be swept clean.

Nobody minds paying a fare share, but many pay little or nothing.

How can a property be listed as vacant land for over three decades and nobody from the assessor's office checks on it?

And the worst part in Rahm lying to everyone about the small raise when he knew it would be a whopper to most residents.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars are lost on phony tax bills.

Where is the media?

It took me less that two hours to find dozens of mistakes in just my block, why can't the assessor find them, nobody in the field? Too many large envelopes?

The truth is they don't want to find them, the suckers will pay the extra freight!

Check your neighborhood for yourself, you will be surprised!

Retired and going broke.

Troll: I heard it already from citizens who should know better; why are they chasing these guys anyway from Tinley to Shitcago for some robbery?

If you give a pass on crime, the level of crime you tolerate increases exponentially to the point you have current day Chicago. A lawless, dangerous city for ALL. Two criminals were eliminated from causing anymore crime and that is how this should be looked at in my opinion. Speedy recovery to the cops and citizens and go get more heads. Thank you and don't stay fetal, just be careful.

Guys hope you get better soon.

And I hope everything works out in the lawsuit that will be filed before the holiday weekend is over

I hope you don't learn the hard way about traffic pursuits with your own personal assets, or suspension time from Eddie, or worse.

IPRA comes out on police related deaths, so now you have anti police incompetent investigators contributing your investigation.

Unmarked car in vehicle pursuit, not a plus

Oh,the Sgt. Didn't terminate, the Sgt isn't seeing what you are seeing. I'm actually surprised watch commander/dis didn't say stay out of it from the get go.

Guys it's not the time and place to be doing chases. If you're so eager to be part of the action, stay in the general vicinity and move in after the inevitable traffic crash and foot chase.

The city does not have your back, the media and jag off lawyers will spin this into the young honor students being murdered

Slow down guys. We care about you, not some bag of money from an Arby's in tinley park. If the offenders were involved in an agg batt, murder, kidnapping you might have some wiggle room. Strong arm robbery, not so much

And for the record, I'm not a dog, not a coward, not a leftist, just a realist.

You want to do stupid shit, you can back yourselves up. Nobody wants to be involved in your nonsense anymore. Yeah, some officer with 20 years on wants to risk his career, family, house, and health because you jackass 2 year wonders are chasing someone for nonsense and that's exactly what 95% of this job is... NONSENSE.

And your statement shows that you still have no understanding about what's going on. If you get involved in anything what makes you think that you don't have to go down on the paper? An omission of the facts is the same thing as a lie. Go look up a Rule 14 violation. And with dash cams, body cams, gps, cell phones, blue light cams, security cams, and ticket cams, you don't need to go down on the paper for anyone to figure out you were there when shit goes wrong, and for what usually ends up being NONSENSE.

Wake up! The fun is over. Learn to think before you act.

* Fake suicide bomber climbed onto the pulpit to announce explosive
* When crowds realised he was lying they swarmed around him furiously
* They drag him outside and begin to beat him until the police arrive
* Incident followed triple bombing at Istanbul airport which killed 44 people

"Violence appears to reach new heights as he is pulled onto the grass outside and beaten by the enraged crowd.

"He was only saved when the police arrived and fired shots into the air to disperse the mob."

Because the gps won't show that you were there. When are you guys going to get it, during these pursuits they are going to pull every gps and look at every video from every car. When you say over the air "I'm going 30mph" when you are really doing 60-70 now you just lied. So I don't blame the Lt for taking down car numbers, that's his job.

Did we learn nothing from the events of last year? Everything is now on video. The city will NOT indemnify you if they can place any blame on you- pursuit policy has become a no pursuit policy. Why are you going to risk your Liberty, your house, your future after this job by playing cop? It's only a job now- nothing more. Forget all the academy nonsense of coming on the job to help people, blah, blah blah, it's a job, nothing more and mayor tutu et.al are at this very moment thinking up ways to screw every cop on the next contract.
Show up, take a few reports, have some coffee, and be a sanitation man, show up and clean up the mess. Why get involved for a city, a media, and a states attorney ( and Federal justice department) that hates you, and would love to place your scalp on the wall. Do nothing, be happy. In fact, if you must do something, find a good investment guy- max out contributions- and retire with a decent nest egg as you move the hell out of the Windy City and everything that is contained in it.
Do not be the cop who gets involved, only to wind up fired, indicted, and jailed. Mayor tutu has been a fiasco, his re-election is coming fast, don't be the willing sacrifice in his bid to Springfield.

You can take your love for the "PoPo's" and shove it up your idiotic ass. Be careful not to hit your brain. If that was your child, who chose to be in the car, that was used during a robbery, because he wanted to be part of the robbery, then he caused his death. The CPD didn't cause it. If you want to place blame elsewhere, you can blame the driver, or you can blame the parents, which would be you. If you "raise" a child to become a piece of shit robber, you are to blame. I assume you're a single mother, because we all know that's what you are. If you think your child's poor decisions and criminal behavior are anyone's fault but yours and his, you're sorely mistaken. That thought process is the reason your "community" is worthless and beyond saving. You want to blame everyone else for what you do wrong. You blame CPD when your child's criminal behavior leads to his death. You blame teachers when your child doesn't get all As while skipping school, not doing homework, fighting and getting arrested at school, etc. Take some fucking responsibility for something for once. You make me sick. You may love the "PoPo's," but we absolutely hate you and anyone like you. You are human garbage. You would lose a child and immediately think of it as a huge payday. You'd call a lawyer before anything else. You'd have the lawsuit in the works before you even made it to the scene to collapse on the ground and scream and pretend to be shocked that your "innocent baby" who "never done nothin' to nobody" was somehow "murdered" by the "racist PoPo's." Fuck you, you ignorant piece of shit. Your community needs us, but we don't need you. We don't care about your community. We never will, until you do. Police your own, starting with your own children. Be a parent. Be involved. Exercise some sort of control in your life. Raise your children to avoid being killed while committing crimes. Fuck you again, in case I didn't make it clear. Idiot.

HINT: POLICE CHASES CAN'T HAPPEN IF CRIMINALS DON'T RUN. Amazing, isn't it?

Went to the cash scene and saw the white shirts walking around getting names. My partner spotted a Lt. starting to write down vehicles numbers. We saw that and got the fuck out of there before we would be involved in an investigation.

Smart man.

Not smart at all. Your GPS puts you on the scene.

And???

You think GPS automatically populates on a CR number? Wrong dick head. Somebody still has to look, and plenty of cars have non functioning GPS.

You're right though, somebody should voluntarily put themselves in a trick bag. Good luck with that stroke.

Are you retarded? Nobody said he was chasing, chasing is a good idea, or was blaming the Lt.

Here's a little secret for your dumb fucking ass. A lot of GPS systems DONT work. A lot of cameras DONT work. If you rolled up to the scene to see if your assistance was needed and determined it wasn't and left there is no need to go down on it. Staying on it would make you world class dumb fuck. Class dismissed dummy.

You're the retard if you think the GPS systems aren't working. You're also a retard if you think arriving on a scene and then saying later that you weren't there isn't a rule 14 violation. Keep working hard tactical warrior. The department has your back! Rahm and Eddie said so, so it must be true!

P.S. Go down to OEMC and look at the screens. Let us know if the GPS systems are working or not. They know exactly where you are at all times retard.

^ Another delusional officer that just doesn't want to accept that the era of being the "REAL POLICE" is over. Keep on working hard superstar! The department will take real good care of you.
