We'd say you have waaaay bigger issues than what is said about you (justifiably) on a blog.

He mentioned at one of the apology/ explanation tours during the time he stripped the PO that was involved in the head stun kick incident that this blog is just hearsay and rumors and bs. He was then offended at inference that he was cozy with the "activist". He kept saying that however I was confused as to why he was fielding calls from an activist with zero LE experience in the first place. His decision to ignore the accepted use of force model in favor of pandering to the possibility of the community uprising shows lack of leadership to protect his men and women or the inclination to do the right thing. We are the police first, NOT politicians. He was Questioning the credability of the contributing posters because of their anonymity. Well boss, it's because of our ability to be anonymous that we can voice our opinion and witnessing testimony on this blog. If we were to sign our real names we'd get our asses in trouble as we have surrendered our free speech rights for this job. A free speech without fear of reprisal that most civilians enjoy on social media and the like.
God bless this blog. Sure there are trolls and fakes but we can spot them pretty easily. Where else can we lowly patrolmen who work the thick of the ghetto streets speak the truth?

That is because of the leaders over there.
When you put a spineless, afraid of his own shadow, can only quote GO's Capt. in charge of a unit and a Sgt., that hasn't been on the street in over 15yrs, in charge of recruits what do you expect.
You need someone that has street experience as well as an academic background running the show at the Academy. You need officers that have the same teaching recruits. Not these 3-5yr wonders that worked in the CAPS office or front office or some other sweet job because they were afraid to work the street.
You need to clean out the staff over there and bring in experienced personnel that fit the criteria needed to teach and mold a good police officer. And someone not afraid to do the right thing when a recruit does not present him/herself as a good fit for the job.
Give ut up Special Ed, you are in way over your head. No one respects you as the head of the Chicago Police department.
