Letting the personal intrude on the professional side of things:
- OT-Kulbida was allegedly "really pissed off" yesterday and ordered the 2nd watch WOL to call everybody in off the street with Parker, ANOV and mover books in hand. He wants to know when the last violations were written as he is planning to personally choose car and watch assignments for 2017.
Really Ed? Are you really that dense? Did the "work wife" as you so lovingly call her tell you to go fuck yourself yesterday causing you to lose your shit and bully the entire 2nd watch? Everybody has been patiently awaiting your retirement but you are the herpes sore of the 012 Dist that won't go away. DOJ still doing the private interviews? Ed, you are nothing but a bully and were never a leader. Ever. You depend on the so very few that still kiss your ass, laugh at your stupid fucking wise cracks and refer to you as "boss." Unfortunately for you, those numbers are rapidly dwindling. You are the kiss of death for morale.
Did that golf outing money ever turn up? Or that other "stuff?" We heard he's still pissed the guy running the 012 Golf Outing didn't set aside one of the TV's for him.

Yeah Ed and you should have been fired for your shooting incident. Not rewarded with a promotion or an award unless you're stupid ass was receiving the "Dumb Ass Leadershp Award." Your lack of tactical assessment was direct negligence and put those officers in harms way, not to mention your dumb ass getting shot was your own fault. How about all the money he would skim from riding along on all our old search warrants in 007. Could never prove it or actually saw him do it but it's not surprising and every time he would go on a warrant with us a money beef would come around and ed would leave the scene after 20 min. Also, sealed money bags would wind up short of money in the district. It was suspected ed would take approved and inventoried money bags and put a clean cut along the bottom, skin some cash and reseal the bottom with the heat sealer. Then weeks later when they take the money into erps and count it for a deposit there is money missing and the Sgt and PO get a cr number on them for the totals not matching. He's a real scumbag and it was the best day ever when he left 007. The third watch dollies don't have to wash their pants as often either since he left because his grimy hand prints aren't rubbed all over their ass anymore.
Ed should have been in jail a long, long time ago. He doesn't know when to say "when". Enough is enough and sooner or later is luck will run out.
Maybe they can download the body cams since some record on stealth mode hearing the so called bosses say why no activity.
Kulbida was the real police but just not the honest or honorable real police. He used this job to steal his entire career to pay for his gambling degeneracy. Once promoted he became a powerful thief. He has not changed one bit since he worked tac in the 011 District. Just another example of why the merit promotion system is no more than a political patronage system that promotes friends of friends with zero consideration of intelligence, leadership ability, common sense or knowledge of the law and the ability to be a police officer.
If you are on Days by management, you should probably bring in some activity. Once you are bid then you can say fuck it, but don't expect to keep your car. That's just common sense.

007 has been a much pleasureable place to be since he and his antics are gone.
For the record he kept the golf money and paid the golf club with a check from a closed account. The golf club said they wouldn't take action if he paid he had to borrow the money from his dad who was a great guy. He also stole the t-shirt and sweatshirt money.

Without a doubt one of the most egotistical, self-aggrandizing, yet incompetent, CPD commanders I've ever known. The aldermen can't stand him, either. He thinks they believe him when he tries to blow smoke up their asses, but they do not. They do complain about him to the Superintendent though.
He should do everyone a favor and go on the medical for that surgery he keeps claiming he needs.

Ed is very moody especially when his gambling goes bad. I'm sure this behavior is linked in with that.
I greet him as a commander almost daily. He doesn't know how repulsed I am by his antics. He's the reason I get mouth vomit on a regular basis.
I guess buying all those cases of steak for this douche has worked out for MD.

Look into the complaints from EVERY search warrant he ever supervised. They would assign a PO just to watch Kulbida. None of the coppers would ever stick up for that thief.

Officers with no time on the job are all given special privileges, The other day on second watch the rumor is the commander is assigning cars to officers based on the amount of tickets and work officers have done, really??? Everyone knows that Sgt Gur... runs the watch and all her favorites will get what ever they want no matter what, it is a fucking joke, and the LT M is no better she lets her get away with this just like LT Walch did. Ok commander, lets see if you got any balls, assign the cars like you said you where going to, lets see if your word means anything!!!!! I doubt it..........................

At some point he become friends with Phat Phil. McStreetlight promoted him after the barricade situation where Bubblehead's own ineptness resulted in him being shot.
Leave EK alone. He did a lot for me, and I really respect him. I love hearing about his awesome stories from 007, and his jokes are hilarious. You guys are all just a bunch of cry babies. When he comes in and asks us nicely to make more arrests and dispersals, I make like a good soldier and work harder. And when he sends those uplifting emails to his Sgts, he always makes sure to tell them positive things like "keep up the good work, boys". And he never talks down to anyone, even lowly POs. And he makes sure to say hi to and acknowledge everyone, even when he's going through personal financial difficulties. His interactions with the public are always professional, and he treats his Sgts like gold. I really respect the way he keeps his composure, even in difficult times, never losing his cool. The man is truly a saint.

Well I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that he made Lieutenant in 2001 from the list. He was not a meritorious Sgt or Lt.----if that matters at all to you.
