- An 18-year-old man attempting to rob a store Wednesday evening in the South Side Gresham neighborhood was shot by the clerk, according to Chicago Police.
The would-be robber was shot multiple times by the clerk at 7:56 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Racine, police said.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
Maybe this was the cure he needed to stop taking stuff that isn't his and he can go get a job and be a productive member of .......hahahaha. Who are we kidding?

Shot while robbing a store, you take him to the hospital? Shit, call a garbage truck and throw him in the back and start the deal. But that will incur an Chicago trash fee.... Open up a sewer cap, drop him in.
Once again, a gun is used to inflict unnessary grievous injury.

That's right folks; when seconds count...the CPD is only a few minutes away. Food for thought for the law abiding people in these impoverished, crime infested neighborhoods. Get a FOID, get trained, get a concealed permit, and then lots of practice at the range.

This thug was taking an advanced logistics course and just finished reading the chapter on expropriation. Didn't read the part it is illegal. Glad the clerk is good - but next time, he should definitely wait a few minutes to ensure the scene is clear, none of the jagoff's friends come in to help him out, etc... Relax, take a deep breath.
