The outcome of this election was a long time in the making. The old adage that people have a short memory when it comes time to vote didn't ring true this time, as the liberal socialists who have been running the show for the last eight years had hoped. The "Hope and Change" everyone had voted for in two consecutive terms only served to prove that in fact, nothing had changed at all, and even got worse. Bad habits are hard to break, but then again every once in a while people surprise you and they learn from their mistakes. Voting for a candidate because the color of his skin adds a diverse novelty to the American sociopolitical arena while simultaneously emancipating all the white guilt programmed into the apologetic liberal drones who beg for the benediction of the entitled, subsidized, and catered government parasites was mistake number one. Those of the American public who were fooled into practicing the liberals' most prized form of social equalization aka, affirmative action, were not so fast to pull the lever the third time around just for the sake of putting the first "woman" in the president's chair. The public finally woke up and realized that those old fashioned prerequisites like credentials and work history were actually things to consider in filling the next vacancy. Maybe if the not-soon-enough-to-be-former president had used his position to better the working families instead of using Air Force One as his and his family's personal global tour guide things would be different. Maybe if he had spent more time strategizing and working to neutralize the terrorist threats to American and allied countries instead of handing billions of tax-payer money to a country that celebrates death to Americans on a daily basis, the Democrats would have had a chance. Maybe if he and Clinton had given more concern to the safety and prosperity of the legal tax-paying citizens that already live in this country, as opposed to importing thousands more refugees from Western-hating regions of the world whose definition of assimilation would be equivalent to that of the Borg, they wouldn't be crying in defeat. And just maybe if Clinton would have considered for one moment how she compromised not only herself, but the interests of this country by engaging and excusing all manners of her impropriety while holding the position of Sec. of State, she wouldn't have the wrath of the American public to face.
